this is SO shockingly impressive, especially the targets and wave 3 of octolings! i think lil buddy was more interested in the ‘seaweed’ on the elite octolings’ hair tho. yesterday was the day i beat after alterna and idk how you ran through that so swiftly, it took me an hour. i did it again today though, i would reccomend using more splat bombs in wave 3! nut GREAT JOB!
Now we just need to see Damageless X Shotless X No little buddy, splat bomb, curling bomb X blind speedrun. I'm sure it's not THAT hard. It will probably take a century of just getting the muscle memory...
Jumping back down to lower rungs on the spiral rail is actually so genius and I’m mad I didn’t think of that during my attempts 😂 Well done, top to bottom!! Really impressive skills. I aspire to your level of movement, timing, and awareness!
What impresses me is that d-pad control, and the fact that you technically don’t have to hurry and could take your time in some parts, but learned how to speedrun it like a boss and make look so much cooler! 👏😎

1:54 you can use a curling bomb to slide past the enemy bombs without needing to kill any of them, although in a level where the biggest challenge is reliability (not dying) this may not be smart to attempt

i never take my left thumb off the left joystick, so i'm using my right thumb for the d-pad, right joystick and the abxy buttons. (and the +, -, home and screenshot buttons)

my other speedruns are more optimized, but this one is just way way more challenging - especially the part from 5:39 to 8:20 is borderline impossible
