This Mv actually requires courage because in Korea being homosexual is considered as something really awful however they shot a video like this. I mean they could get so much hate with this even lose fans because of this. But they did it this is why I really love and respect Sistar.
Fan Girl First, how are they getting attention by using females and not males?? are you okay?? legit, they are being creative and thats how i love them sm
Yeezy 1- Most of directors and productors are men. We still live in a male dominated world. Thats why half naked women are popping in both male and female singers music videos. Also male sexuality are much more visual. And Most of these men are straight. They find two women together sexy. Thats why we see lesbian homoerotism everywhere. Ummm so many female singers together -> Jlo&İggy, Rihanna&Shakira and list. goes on...But never male singers together. So by society female homosexuality is accepted. This mvs is not sexual but men are not diagusted by this. women are the same cuz female homosexuality doesnt harm womanjood but gay mens manhood seem harmed. They Show different relationships So thy will get more clicks and everyone will be talking " have You seen sistars New mv?" in Korea. 2-This mv is totally copy of "Girls likegirls" Even lipstick scene is copied. I really like sistars this song it is amazing but about mv nothing is creative Lmao. Enough facts? You dont have to contunie argue to worship them.
SISTAR is indeed amazing and brave. They probably knew many people will be against the concept but they did it anyway to show their support to LGBT community. Such queens~ We must protect them at all cost
I hate to be that guy, but.. the video made us believe this is already happened, so either they talk about it to the the police, or the old guy that they meet in an early part..
they put the guy's body inside that travelling bag and put it on fire along with *their* car.. now that last part was their mistake. Cuz of that car and the lighter which she just threw inside the car it'll be easy for the police to trace everything back to them. And they'll be suspected for the murder. Now, since it was technically in self defense one could argue that they could get it pardoned as justifiable homicide but.. that's not exactly the case here. The guy was abusive ; yes but he wasn't life threatening at the moment. so they either need a damn good lawyer or some political backing .. if not its gonna be tough.
Okay, but can we talk about the acting in this video for a moment? It's so real, and you can FEEL the intimacy in the air between the two, and how whenever the man shows up or is present their body language freezes up for a moment. The silent exasperation and just plain disgust on the dark-haired girl's face at 1:13 as the person she loves picks up the call, but still looking away so she doesn't see her face, and the shame in the light-haired girl's eyes as she watches this change in expression. Also, look at how casual the guy's face is at 2:44 when he's pulling her back, like "what are you two so worked up about? I have a perfect right to do this," that speaks to how ingrained the abuse is in the dynamic of their relationship. He seems so shocked that the dark-haired girl would take offense to it like he thought it was none of her business or something, the "why are you still here?" assumption that her friend's pain should be of no concern to her. The couple's expressions at 3:26 also tell that story, as he's beating her but both facial expressions look like what you'd see in a couple arguing over the fact that one of them forgot it was Valentine's day. It comes across as so brutal and heart-breaking because they seem so damn casual about it. And the entire scene from 3:28 onwards is awesome, but I just want to highlight the guy's expression at 3:30 that's so infuriatingly dismissive, like he seems like he's about to laugh at her in a "what do you think you can do about it?" kind of way. The answer, of course, being "clock you over the head with a brick, you fucking bastard."
Also, I know I've rambled enough but there's a more things that seem important: the possible symbolism at 3:54 of her having multiple rings on her fingers, but nothing on the ring finger. Rings (promise rings, wedding rings, etc.) are usually used to represent a commitment or promise to someone else. The placement of the rings might suggest that she does indeed have strong commitments, but not in the ways and not to the person that others might expect her to.
Thank you Sistar. Being one of the really big K-Pop girl groups, having a realistic lesbian love story is amazing. This made me cry out of happiness because of the representation.
Alex Hopkinz I meant everything aside from that. I mean it's a kpop video, not everything in it can be accurate. But even then the "I would kill for you" thing is somewhat accurate.
+Alex Hopkinz would you say the same if it showed a heterosexual relationship? like, come on. there are so many mv's with dark themes, why is this any different?
I know y'all are all happy about there being a lesbian couple in a music video but can we also talk about the amazing story we got with it too and not just the two girls being in a relationship. like can this story please be a kdrama.
being excited about seeing lesbian or gay things in media isn't fetishizing, that's something homophobic people are using to get people to stop talking about gay things because it makes them uncomfortable. i am so sick and tired of that trend. we are allowed to be excited about things BECAUSE they have lesbians and celebrate things BECAUSE they have lesbians. we deal with being put down and made out to be less worthy for our sexuality day in and day out, let us have this.
This mv is still one of my favorites. It’s so meaningful, it literally talks about women power, lgbtq+, friends with feelings in a close minded society, toxic relationship and r4pe! I’ve never seen a mv like this, this just shows how good it is. People in korea don’t like to talk about this society aspects but it’s really important to educate people and sistar did! I’m proud of them
damn, these 2 actresses have such incredible chemistry!! They make me believe they are in love, hard to find those eyes and touch that believable! and the song is great support for the storyline
Maybe time to find a new genre of music... first shakira a married women with 2 kids sticks her face in rihanna's herpes infected coochie, now a Kpop group I also know is not gay puts this out. Talk about gay propaganda...
Honestly I just love the fact that Giorgio Moroder got to collaborate with K-Pop. It's a shame this didn't become a subgenre of it's own, because imagine a Harold Faltemeyer/ 4Minute collab or a Herbie Hancock/ KARA Collab or a Jan Hammer/Super Junior Collab.
Some of you don't realize how important that a prominent group like sistar features an mv where f/f couple is portrayed and represented. Just imagine how homophobic korea is. But the fact that people will be paying attention to this music video because of how daring the director was is important. I can only imagine the hidden smiles and joy of those closeted k idols seeing this type of video out there. And also regular LGBT korean citizens.
lack of promotional videos as it contain controversial theme for the majority of audience in SK. and also not many of us knowing that Giorgio Moroder is the father of electronic music
@@riomarchello7080I agree.. I knew Giorgio Moroder when I was a child because of my uncles and aunts who are still keep vibing with his hit songs until now.
One more day....What an appropriate title for this MV. The tragic story of an ordinary girl in a loveless abusive relationship meeting an older lesbian woman and fell in love, then the accidental killing of the abusive boyfriend...lead to a tragic ending. All they ask for is 1 more day...of happiness! But as said "where is the beautiful ending?" What is interesting is that after the tragic event, they were not pointing fingers at each other and fighting each other or have the usual "blame game" which often occur to couple after a stressful event.. They collaborate (rightly or wrongly) with each other. That shows their fillings for each other is very deep in spite of hardships to come (prison surely is a hard place!). This story transcends homosexuality since it can occur in any variations of a love triangle (whether men or women or both). Definitely not aegyo Kpop music material!Hope it won't affect SISTAR adversely!!
The one with black hair saw the blonde one almost kill the guy and then decided that she didn't want the blonde one to feel guilty for killing him so she smashed the bottle over his head, killing him instead of the blonde one.
did sistar just make a music video where a lesbian couple get drunk together, smash an abusive boyfriend in the head with a brick, chop his body up, stuff him in a suitcase and burn the evidence? yes. Is it suddenly my favourite music video of all time?? yes x2

These thwo actress/model are Song Haena (blond hair), she appeared in some kpop mv like : VIXX - VooDoo Doll (2013), Seung Ri - Gotta Talk To U (2013), INFINITE H - Special Girl (2013), Teen Top - To You (2012).... And the other girl is Hong Suhyun (black hair), she played in many many drama like "Lie to me" (2011) and participated in Rommate (2014).. I hope i help some curious! Sorry, my english isn't very good.
Shall we say that your words are true? Well, if gay people multiply more, what would happen? Will you stay alive? Of course not, governments are deploying homosexuality more to reduce the number of people, but you are making you the guardian go to die
Don’t worry, I’m bi too. It takes a while to accept it and come out but there are so many people who will accept you 💞 if the people in your family don’t support you there are so many organizations that will help you. Take your time ❤️
don't worry you will be accepted there are a lot of people who will accept you whole heartedly and gonna love you for who you are and being the real you
Why is no one talking about Giorgio????? Do you guys realize what sort of a god he is in the electronic industry? He PIONEERED electronic music as we know today! I care more about him than I do SISTAR and I stan the fuck out of SISTAR lmao
I dont care if they are disbanding, il always be a STAR1 forever. These girls are sexy and brave! They deserve all the love even in their individual careers! They always show what girl power is with their sexy summer concepts! Even though they will be disbanding, they will still be under the same company! Its for their growth, so let us be happy for them!
me at the start seeing them with the bag: it must be a metaphor like social pressure. me at the end seeing it is the exboyfriend's body: wow... i like it. (my English is not good, sorry)
Technically it's possible that one of the girls is bi since she was with a guy, but as a bi woman myself I'm happy to see a wlw relationship in a kpop mv.
I read the comments and NO ONE seems to realise that this a song of Giorgio Moroder! No one realise that this is not just a song this is a part of history....This a song by Moroder the guy who inspired Daft Punk the guy who changed the music scene forever...He didn't just gave them a song he gave them his blessing!!! I am very proud of SISTAR and their talents but this is a global recognition of an established Artist. Congratulations Sistar
for people who may not know, 1:09 the name on her phone translates to "crazy b*st*rd" or "crazy ex" so it seems that the guy was actually her ex, not her current boyfriend
according to the group's interview, "i have a very special relationship with Hyungwon. that's why my hardship is my heart hurting from seeing Hyungwon go through that" - said Minhyuk, talking about their roles in All In MV. I don't think they were brothers. All In is actually a LGBT-themed MV. in MV commendatary, Wonho spoiled that the MV is about fear, Shownu's fear was his father and Minhyuk's fear was Hyungwon; he even said that Minhyuk's pain was all about Hyungwon.
Okay....but I've been watching and listening to this at least 20 times since I found it two days ago, so.....does that mean I should start checking out more Sistar?
Linnea idontwanttoputmylastname funny thing is their main songs are considered hits but as a fan I prefer their side tracks a LOT more. I listen to entire albums from almost every idol group and sistar is on top of my list. look for all of their OST, duets, sistar19, solo
Andrew Choe Are there any specific songs you'd recommend to someone who loves this? The gayer the better. I also stan Nine Muses, GFriend, Twice, Cosmic Girls, and pretty much any group to have one or more members from Produce 101 if that's any help
Linnea idontwanttoputmylastname 1. Sistar - Crying, 2. Sistar - Sunshine, 3. Sistar - Lead Me, 4. entire 4th mini-album, 5. Hyolyn - Hello Goodbye, 6. Soyou x Junggigo - Some, 7. Sistar - If U Want, 8. Far East Movement - Identity Feat. Hyolyn (basically all her), 8. Hyolyn - My Love (unpretty rapstar 2) 9. Soyou - 잠은 다 잤나봐요 (No Sleep) 10. Soyou has a bunch of duets and it'll all pop up on searches.
i've never really gotten into SISTAR, but after seeing how boldly they put an MV with a homosexual couple in it even though they live in such a conservative country, i feel like i need to know more about them. i love this! ❤️
Fan Girl i didn't say that all koreans are homophobic, i just said it's a conservative country. but if you want to know where i stand on the subject, i'd say that from what i've seen the past few years since i've gotten into the korean culture, homophobia is very common and the majority of people view homosexuality in a negative light. that's just my observation, though.
Queen • There are many Kpop mvs with lesbian theme but there are none with boyxboy(dont say kwill bestie etc etc I have never seen a famous male singer who has a romantic mv with another. all world is just against male homosexualism or homoerotism because some pervy straight men like bisexual women but dont like bisexual men...So this mv is not new but it is not good it can be confusing for little girls sadly...Adutls can do whatever they want
Fan Girl i get what you're saying, but this MV in particular doesn't over sexualise the couple like they do in some to appeal to men, so i think for young girls who are looking for affirmation of their sexuality, this MV is good for that (minus the darker themes). and i agree, in east asia in particular everyone seems hesitant to show a relationship between two men but are more inclined to show two women because of the whole over sexualisation of women in media for the entertainment of men. it's disappointing that this is how things are, but as you mentioned there are, thankfully, more artists who are showing malexmale relationships, and hopefully this'll encourage more popular artists to do the same.
Queen • I dont think this solves anything. It is not sexualized in this MV but thats why they showed 2 women. I think I am really tolerated to everyone, but of course there are things I disagree or find morally(for me of course) wrong(thats my life at all) Thanks you are understanding. It is not in East Asia it is more a Western thing. Whole cultures around world copy Western cultures especially american culture I dont kniw where You are from but as a non-Western who have been to many Wstern countries I can see that clearly.
This is so iconic.... i really hope they are proud as fuck, to have made such a masterpiece, to have told such a story, the implications and the struggles that we actually go trought (of course minus the murdering), special given South Korea standarts towards lgbtq community....bravo....
I don't think people understand how ICONIC sistar just became and how important this MV is. First off, the song itself is amazing (except for the lack of bora :( but still amazing). And it's very different and catchy I just love it. Now here's why the MV is so important, As most people know Korea is one of the most homophobic countries out there. They're so homophobic that i'm 99% sure there are a ton of gay idols but they are afraid to come out due to getting such drastic hate and possibly ending their career which is sad. So with this stigma of 'gay is bad' still going on in Korea, they are rarely exposed to actual gay people and don't understand the fact that they aren't some taboo or fetish, and are just normal people who love who they love point blank period. But with this MV of a beautiful love story on screen, that just so happens to be between two female leads, being portrayed as an actual relationship that went through love and hardships and not just something bad or sexual, is GROUND BREAKING. Like i'm not even exaggerating it's truly amazing. AND with this MV being from as big of a group as SISTAR, from as big of a company as Starship, is just the icing on the cake. I truly tip my imaginary hat to everyone who had a part of this masterpiece🙌🙌🙌
I'm not a fan of Sistar but youtube randomly reccomended me this song, so I decided to listen to it mainly interested by the title and I have to say I loved this song immediately. I don't know what is it but the melody makes me feel some type of way, it's so different. I really have to thank youtube for reccomeding me such a masterpiece.
For those who did not know who are these girls, they are Hong Soo-hyun and Song Hae-na who appeared on season 1 of SBS's Roommate and this is Sistar's first single to appear as uncredited vocals along with a project by a Italian EDM producer and composer, Giorgio Moroder who collaborates with Daft Punk, Madonna, Sia, Kylie Minogue, Donna Summer. But the storyline of the music video is about to end anti-LGBT sentiment in South Korea and domestic violence against women that has been problem throughout the world. I think as a Indonesian K-pop fan, this is a good example to end against sexism and violence against women from a banger song like this although I did not give a support to legalize LGBT in Indonesia.
As I said before, Southeast Asia and and some countries never support LGBT movement, why? Because SE Asian countries where Southeast Asian countries with the biggest K-pop fan population including, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore (except Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines) have made it clear that they oppose to support a LGBT movement and this movement does not ruin the country's welfare, but the country's ideology themselves to legalize LGBT rights. Take a look between Sistar's One More Day and K.will's Please Don't, they have the same concepts which is about LGBT rights and have you watched it and listened the song?
walaupun saya support dengan LGBT movement tapi point yang kamu sampaikan memang benar-benar terjadi dan saya setuju! Preach! I do like this MV so much!
Honestly I love SISTAR, but I wasn't a big fan of this song at first, but MAN!! The MV really changed my mind! Dark, deep, interesting story! I know there have been a few LGBT stories/people in K-Pop MVs before, but I don't remember any from such a big named group!! I love this so much!! Also was the brunette Hong Soo Hyun or did she just look a lot like her??
EXPLAIN TO ME! Explain me why this MV is forbidden at least of 19 years (age of the majority in Korea). Because of the alcohol? When BIGBANG gets drunk it is of - 15 years. Because of the violence? When B.A.P kills everything in all senses it is of - 15 years. Nan nan, it is just because...they kiss each other :) . - rage - ( sorry for my bad english )
I think the murder scene and the disposal of body makes it 19+, but yeah... Korea is quite close-minded so the LGBTQ concepts maybe part of the reason it becomes 19+
CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT THE BLONDE GIRL WAS PROBABLY PAN OR BI FOR A SECOND? LIKE NOT ONLY WAS THIS CENTRED AROUND A GAY RELATIONDHIP BUT ONE OF THE GIRLS WAS A SEXUALITY EVEN MORE FROWNED ON. ARE THESE TEARS COMING OUT OF MY EYES??
Lol, i guess that's up to anyone since neither the video nor the director personally say what orientation she was, she could've perfectly been a closeted lesbian, specially since most gay people in sk are un the closet.
@@naenunaape3358 yeah but it looks like she was happy with the guy (while also crushing a little bit on her now-gf) before the became a huge dick so i guess that she wasn't a lesbian
I don't know at first I don't like the fact that Sistar is not in the mv but when I watch it and understand the story I probably cried. I swear these two ladies did a very good job. im expecting this song as an all kill😭😢😢😢
I used to like my bff. We were just friends and I didn't even realise that I like her ( I even tried to kiss her ) I didn't know about lgbt cuz my parents are homophobic and they never talked about LGBT at home (so I was unaware of lgbt+). Now I know what is lgbt and I realised that I had a big crush on my friend. I really felt like this girl when I heard that she likes a guy and told him that.
Am I the only one feeling proud of Sistar right now? They've had a lot of 'hints' towards homosexuality throughout videos now but to actually make it confirmed in a video that they have included a lesbian couple is brave considering the hate some kpop stars have had for doing similar things. I didn't think I could love sistar anymore..
Sistar will be missed, they were such empowering women who went against the 'norm'. Sistar will always be in our hearts

Maybe time to find a new genre of music... first shakira a married women with 2 kids sticks her face in rihanna's herpes infected coochie, now a Kpop group I also know is not gay puts this out. Talk about gay propaganda...
Gfriend Navillera Eunha x Yerin ^-^
Honestly I just love the fact that Giorgio Moroder got to collaborate with K-Pop. It's a shame this didn't become a subgenre of it's own, because imagine a Harold Faltemeyer/ 4Minute collab or a Herbie Hancock/ KARA Collab or a Jan Hammer/Super Junior Collab.
Ok, this made me laugh.
this is the most accurate representation of "be gay, do crimes"

Some of you don't realize how important that a prominent group like sistar features an mv where f/f couple is portrayed and represented. Just imagine how homophobic korea is. But the fact that people will be paying attention to this music video because of how daring the director was is important. I can only imagine the hidden smiles and joy of those closeted k idols seeing this type of video out there. And also regular LGBT korean citizens.
this mv reminds me of the plot line of hayley kiyoko's "girls like girls like boys do"
ibleedtea i thought so too but this is darker
Just saw your comment after I commented the same thing too. And i freaking love that song.

I don't think couples do the blame game, just the idiot ones? 😂
did sistar just make a music video where a lesbian couple get drunk together, smash an abusive boyfriend in the head with a brick, chop his body up, stuff him in a suitcase and burn the evidence? yes. Is it suddenly my favourite music video of all time?? yes x2

All In by Monsta X too
Bee I don't really count that, because it was way too subtle and the group said they were brothers. But this one and K.Will's it's very evident ;)
according to the group's interview, "i have a very special relationship with Hyungwon. that's why my hardship is my heart hurting from seeing Hyungwon go through that" - said Minhyuk, talking about their roles in All In MV.
I don't count it officially, just in my head, 😉😜😝

i've never really gotten into SISTAR, but after seeing how boldly they put an MV with a homosexual couple in it even though they live in such a conservative country, i feel like i need to know more about them. i love this! ❤️
Queen • Korea is fine with gays they are not homophobic they are just heteronormative
I AM HERE FOR THE GAY

ME TOO
Dud, me too
I don't think people understand how ICONIC sistar just became and how important this MV is.
First off, the song itself is amazing (except for the lack of bora :( but still amazing). And it's very different and catchy I just love it. Now here's why the MV is so important,
As most people know Korea is one of the most homophobic countries out there.
LESBIANS WHO KILL TOGETHER, STAY TOGETHER!!!!!!!
I LOVE THIS SO FUCKING MUCH!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

...I gues... that's not the point...

Girls Like Girls...
like boys do
Nothing new
For those who did not know who are these girls, they are Hong Soo-hyun and Song Hae-na who appeared on season 1 of SBS's Roommate and this is Sistar's first single to appear as uncredited vocals along with a project by a Italian EDM producer and composer, Giorgio Moroder who collaborates with Daft Punk, Madonna, Sia, Kylie Minogue, Donna Summer.
Gilang Bayu Rakasiwi Why didn't you support HÄHH
Gilang Bayu Rakasiwi setujuuuu!!
Itu sudah pasti
walaupun saya support dengan LGBT movement tapi point yang kamu sampaikan memang benar-benar terjadi dan saya setuju!
It's her :)

Este MV cuenta una historia muy fuerte y siento que está bien expresada, me encanta.

( sorry for my bad english )
Damn they're stupid..
False Girl because hypocrisy, double standards........hypocrisy, hypocrisy.....and hypocrisy.
I think the murder scene and the disposal of body makes it 19+, but yeah... Korea is quite close-minded so the LGBTQ concepts maybe part of the reason it becomes 19+
As i said, in B.A.P " Skydive " M/V they kill each other but it's forbidden at least of - 15 years ^^ ...

YESSS, i'm so proud of them. Putting subtext is one thing, but this is a legit lesbian love story.
Exactly! (love your ana icon btw)
