Lou Reed never ceases to amaze me, just when I though I heard some of his greatest songs/performances, I found this. Wow. Imagine being around him during those days. I wonder what that whole scene with all those artists was like... Would I have even survived the era and scene?
@@lionelraoul same here. started listening to lou in 1972 when i was in high school and he music was the biggest influence in my life. still listening and missing him still
As a long time fan I thought all of his greatest songs were long past behind him except from the album New York. Then he rips out this masterpiece and I see how amazing he is.
Fuck, it should be played at his funeral at this style and version to show all appreciation and all that he gave us, it was that power in this version.

He was the greatest. The emotion he brings to music...unfortunately and fortunately only a few people can feel it. I'm glad to be one of them.
Right there with you.

And what about his album "The Raven", except that it is also a literary masterpiece?
who is the guy on glasses playing guitar? he is having a ball. This is such a poignant performance.
Heartbreakingly beautiful' not for the weak' perhaps better for the meek' God created them too' right?
Is that Sean Lennon on the guitar?
bufff, hasta dentro!
For few, not for many
Does anyone know who that is on lead guitar? What about the drummer?
on guitar - Aram Bajakian
Or Sean, which is who I meant.
It's not Julian Lennon on guitar, but I do wonder who it is.
Aram Bajakian
