Natalie, I cannot put into words how much of an impact you have made on my life. You've helped me breathe music into my soul again. The way you sing this song, and every other, with such passion and love is awe-inspiring.
Even though we don't know each other, thank you❤️

I just wanted to tell you that you are so amazing! you have helped me bring my belt out and now I'm belting high A's through C's. your voice gives me life! I showed this to my voice coach and I am now going to be doing this song next semester for voice.

So beautifully restrained and sublimely acted. A lesson in text interpretation and building up a scene within a song. Just love it!

Natalie, your performance transcends beyond the literal basis of the song. I totally forgot the first person in the song was a man. All I heard and felt was the experience of the loss and the effect it had on someone who had to endure such tragedy. You totally demonstrate here the importance of song interpretation and how one needs to be mindful of the story they are telling. And there is no need to comment on the amount of control you have on your instrument. Such amazing techniques. Hope you come by LA some time soon. Missed you when you were in Houston a few years back.

At the edge of the Atlantic,
    Can’t bring myself to swim.
I choked back the tears for twenty two years,
    Drowning in shadows of him.
The waves etch out a pattern
    Long after they’re gone.
The lines that they trace, they quickly erase,
    But something’s still lingering on.
    Lost in the waves.
I am lost in the waves.
    No one but me and the silent black sea;
I am lost in the waves.
    A vision in the moonlight:
    A family on the beach.
A boy on his own, by the undertow thrown
    Far beyond his father’s reach.
    He’s caught in a riptide.
    A man has to choose.
There’s a race to be won for the life of his son,
    But someone has to lose.
    Lost in the waves.
He was lost in the waves.
Salt water burns, the tide always turns,
When you’re lost in the waves.
    Now I’m the one sinking.
    There’s no solid ground.
    And I can’t help thinking
I’m the one who has drowned.
    Now knee-deep in the water,
    I feel my father’s touch.
And though fully grown, I’ve still never known
How to love someone that much.
    Lost in the waves.
I am lost in the waves.
    No one but me and the silent black sea;
I am lost in the waves.
I am lost in the waves.
I am lost in the waves.

I lost my dad a year ago and this song has always held a special place in my heart! I have sang it for the past few years but after watching this I see this song in a new way! This is the best communication I have ever seen of a song!!! You have truly touched my soul tonight!!! You have made me fall in love with music again!!!!

Natalie, I found you a few days ago when I clicked on a Katharine McPhee video, and then saw the video of you coaching her in the suggested videos list down below. So I clicked that one...and was hooked. I just kept clicking the next one and the next one and the next one! 3 days later and I'm not done yet. Thank goodness there are still more! But I have to take a moment and tell you how much those song effected me. I can't tell you how much I love watching you perform! You are so talented and make it look so easy even though I know it is NOT! But this song. Whoa. I'm still crying writing this. The emotion you convey and the sincerity that comes through when you sing is so moving - this one really shook me. So now I'm going to Google that song and find out what it's from, (cause I've never heard it before and it's GORGEOUS!) but then I'll be back here clicking on any other videos I can find of you singing! I hope I never run out!!!😊 Thank you for sharing your voice with the world. You have a special gift.❤️

Natalie every single time I watch this video, I close my eyes and picture the image that you paint with your voice. The amount of emotions and musicality that you have and portray in your music is just stunning. You are an amazing actress and vocalist! I wish that you would record this so I can purchase it and support your music!! I would love to have it to listen to all the time! Being an accompanist, I would love to play this song as you sing it!

Your voice is impeccable and Kooman and Dimond take genius to the next level. People always talk about performances being believable. For me, this goes past that. It is penetratingly truthful. I don't really know how else to put it. I didn't think it was possible but you have outdone yourself.

One of the things I love about Natalie Weiss is that her pop and musical styles are rooted in a classical connected singing foundation. She is an incredibly smart singer. I love how she break vocal rules (common misconceptions) because everything is connected, cemented to her support.

    Such core shattering lyrics...
And Natalie Weiss always giving it her all. She has both clarity & soul in her voice. A beautiful, unbeatable combination and most of all she conveys emotions so smooth and effortlessly.

I am literally crying! This is so beautiful, I have no words. You are so inspirational to me in more ways than one. I can't believe how much of a connection I feel to you through this song. I do not know you, however in this song, I feel like I know all your pain and life obstacles.
Thank you so much! Please, in what ever you do, do not stop performing and singing. You have caught my eye through your music. Not many people to that. Amazing, butter voice. I can't even begin to explain.
