"Kuku is definitely undefeated." .....you're not wrong there. I also loved how the kids were respecting the fact that the ivi under the tree belonged to someone else.... children can also be our teachers - that's the beauty of this vlog.
These young kids with basic living and laughter and happiness, reminds me of my young days growing up in Tonga. Nice to see the young generations still connected to their roots, and not brainwashed by social media. Thumbs up to your video.👍👍
It is wonderful to note how these kids recognize that someone has come before them and gathered those ivi, left it there and will pick it up on their way back to the village. Good moral learning of not taking something that you did not collect, just leave it alone. 👍👍💯 Thank you, @Uraia. 👏👏 Kids learning these life skills early is important - can see that with these young children. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Bula my brother I look forward to all your videos I love watching it remind me of when I grew up in the islands I’m from Samoa but I live in the USA keep the videos coming brother alofa atu
22:27 This is incredible! Can see how smart the village kids are. I think it has been taught from generation to generation, the significance of chestnuts 🌰 status (I.e if it’s sitting in heaps then someone owned it and if it’s scattering everywhere then you can collect it) I’m speechless 😢to see how that is entertained here by these young kids! Unbelievable and just incredible. GB 🙏 you kids.
Too good the village life. Very entertaining and have to say the young boys are fantastic at what they do. It's the simple things in life that matters. Cheers to you and the boys for the laughs. Hope to see more videos of Navuti and its wonderful people!
These village kids are so cool and so lucky to have exposure to such a lifestyle they have so much outdoor skills and so much confidence and knowledge western kids have everything on the silver spoon and these kids have a proper childhood core memories being made I love it
Man these kids are so clever . So free walking around the bush and having fun . This iwhat Josese and the boys must have done at this same age . Too good ragone . Loloma Levu .Vinaka Ura
Man this is me back in Tonga in the 90s to 2000s hard life but taught me well...im doing well overseas great job own my own home its because i grew up this way..WORK HARD.!!!😅
Very educational..as the saying goes we learn new things all the time especially the different varieties of Ivi...next time please ask grandma to make that Ivi desserts with coconut that is the best..Love watching these village kids I prefer them rather than the older young men..cause they swear alot sorry.. the kids are very entertaining strong energetic village kids love their bubbly personalities soo innocent just felt like hugging them..isaa reminds me of the good old days in our village..watching from Canada...isaa 😢😊❤
Love the fact that this Kids respected that the heap of ivi belongs to someone else 👏 . This is the best teaching ever 🤝🥰 Bro love your vedio contents with this village kids and adventure. 🇻🇺🇻🇺🇫🇯
So wholesome watching these boys' respect for someone else's heap, their traditional knowledge of ivi and their environment. These little Navuti botanists are a riot😀. Vinaka ragone!
Yay back to Moturiki Navuti with my favorite village people 💕 💖 hi Ura and kids bula 😍 I think that's what we called ifi back home 😎 Api is a natural comedian 😀 👍
Very cool having the young boys go out and get some chestnuts to bring home to feed the family.. Love chestnuts my favorite every time I go back to the Cook Islands I make sure I have some yummy 😋🤤
Love how the kids know the names of the Ivi by their colour. 3 Ivi names I know are Ivi damu, Ivi sere and Ivi dawa, probably known as a different name in other places in Fiji.
My grand daughter enjoyed the humors here from the kids. 😂 We call the fruit ee...just the letter e but heavy. We boil it in coconut milk after chopped in pieces and add to other dishes or can be put in earth oven and cut later to remove the hard shell. Vinaka for reminding my island fruits. 👏🏼👍🏽🇵🇬❤
Yes, these boys are very strong, respectable and responsible. They were all taught well at such a young age. So nice of grandma to participate with the cleaning and preparation of the chesnuts. I enjoyed this video so much. Just being out in the forest and gathering together to eat the fruits of their hard working labor. Awesome..
Bula Ura This kids are hilarious but they are very aware of the forest. I'd definitely pick them as company if I was gonna be lost in a isolated island Village kids are strong. Really big tahitian nuts in moturiki Really great video with the kids Ura God bless
As always very entertaining showcasing the young warriors of Navuti...only thing i picked up on is all my tauvu in Navuti are still confused with their colour chart in Vanua Levu damu is still red not orange 🤪🤪🤪
Damu in Moturiki was rooted from the word Kula which is orangish red nd gold in the mix..Derived from the colour of its paradise pre-flood land now underwater around the south end of the island called Vanuakula(Davetaĺevu/Vuniivilevu or Vunilagi)..
Congratulations bro. Subscribed to your channel when it was just a little past 500 subscribers. And here you have already hit 10K subs in less than a year. Such a wonderful journey, such an authentic showcase of your village lifestyle. Great stuff👌👌👌👌💯💯💯💯
Awesome Vlog Uraia. Kids sourcing healthy food from the land. I made my family watch it too. They loved it. Actually, we got a supply of this Tahitian Chestnut in our fijian grocery stores in Vancouver.. We cook it like you not like Vanua Levu people...lol
In Samoa we call those “IFI”. They’re baked in the UMU in their shells then split in half to get the chestnut. Some of the good eatings back home. 💯💯💯🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸
