Presenting a message by the Honourable Mia Amor Mottley, Q.C, M.P., Prime Minister of Barbados, at the first segment of the High-Level Dialogue on Climate Action in the Americas. Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Hosted virtually by the President of the Republic of Argentina, His Excellency Alberto Fernández. The first segment was themed, "Sprint to Glasgow. Enhancing Climate Ambition". The segment featured a high-level political panel with representatives from countries that express commitment on climate ambition and action. Other speakers in this segment included US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry; Secretary-General of the United Nation, António Guterres; President of Colombia, Iván Duque Márquez; President of Costa Rica, Carlos Alvarado Quesada; President of Panama, Laurentino Cortizo; President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader and COP26 President, Alok Sharma.
