Freddie and Spencer’s relationship is so underrated. I’m so glad that their dynamic is going to be much more prevalent in the revival. In the original show, it was more of a kid/adult mentor dynamic but now it’s become more of a brother/brother dynamic. 😊
And to think Jerry aka Spencer is 44. He doesn't look older than 30 imo.

Honestly, I agree. Freddie was the one who filmed Carly and Sam during the talent show auditions since he found their banter with each other funny and the accidental upload of them being funny on film resulted in something positive in their lives such as entertaining others online through comedy. Freddie was the one who came up with "iCarly," which is the thing that would significantly impact his and Carly's lives over the years as well as being the one who would bridge Carly and Sam together whenever they had their fights. Even thinking about the way iGoodbye ended with Freddie's voiceover saying his famous line at the end of every webshow they did "...And we're clear."
Without Freddie, Carly would not have gotten to where she is today and iCarly would not have existed if it wasn't for him. 😊

I dont think they should even make them get together tbh. It would just seem forced or like fanservice, especially since Carly and Freddie never had chemistry or anything. Carly never liked Freddie in that way, and Freddie had a childish crush on her that he eventually got over.
Maybe theyll change that and make them love interests in the reboot tho who knows. If they do i hope it makes sense for the characters lol but overall it doesnt seem like it would.

this reboot so far is such a success. One of the best reboots I’ve seen from a childhood show. The characters, chemistry, and acting remained the same as if they never left. The comedy isn’t forced, it feels like I’m watching an adult version of ICarly, just as it should. I hope they would go deeper into how they all got to the point they are at; Spencer with his money, Freddie’s failed past (I joke) and Carly’s life after leaving ICarly years ago. I’d love to see more characters come back too. I can’t decide which character i like the most, but Freddie is definitely iconic in these clips😂. I also love how they are in touch with reality and today’s generation. Everything just feels so natural and for the first time in a while, I’ve laughed at a show. I see people making memes about the cursing, but honestly I hope they don’t make it flop because it’s a really great reboot. Looking forward to more episodes! 😂💕

Yeah honestly thought it was going to suck but the fact that they acknowledged most of their fans are adults and adapted the show with that in mind really helped.
It’s actually a revival, not a reboot.
I honestly felt like people would make fun of me for liking this show as a kid but I'm glad to see alot of other people watched and enjoyed this show in their younger years. My first episode into the show after seeing the adds for it left me legitimately sitting in anticipation to watch was the Isaved you Life episode.
If they do decide to build the Relationship of Carly and Freddie,I'll be tuning in every episode.

Edit: I thought people would make fun of me for watching it because I'm a guy,and as a kid I thought this was a more of a girl show similar to Disney Channel shows like Hannah Montana.
I don’t think anyone made fun of me for liking this show back then, literally my whole school was in love with the show and people would be talking about the new episode that would come out.

I think Creddie is definitely going to happen and I hope they will be in a legit relationship this time around compared to the first time in iSaved Your Life when Carly was blinded by her admiration for Freddie’s heroic act of saving her from the truck and mistaking that for romantic love. I’m calling it now: Carly and Freddie will get married to each other in the series finale. That would be so wholesome, especially for Freddie since he had a crush on her since day 1 when they were kids in the original show. 😊❤️

Because the show is literally leading to that it's following all the usual beats you'd expect for an end game like that - it's showing both Carly and Freddie in a bit of a lul point in there life, they've both come out of relationships the show has shown both of them trying new relationships all of which are not working out - it is following the the arc to a tee. Infact alot of the time the entire show feels like it was just made to give Freddie and Carly that happy ending.
This show has been great so far and i truly hope it's not just one and done i want more seasons :)

Freddie was always cute, I mean we knew he would be a cutie at the beginning...and by the end of the season he was already a semi buff hottie. The biggest glow up award should go to Carly who went from a semi awkward girl nextdoor to a semi baddie.

I think the hair helps sell him as older. He kind of has a baby face but the hair gives the illusion of a receding hairline.
