I've just compared that bag with other backpacks and as for me the insulated /thermal pocket makes a difference, since I wanna use it to take it to work along with my lunch or a sandwich. This was a great review George.I just wanted to add that the design on front including the logo is a light reflective strip. And also the fuel compartment is not only insulated but doesnt absorb spills and very easy to clean. (especially if you spill coffee all the time) and it is a whopping 38 Liter bag. I got a good deal on one at Marshall's.
