PRO TIP: Don't use a lantern in the cave, makes seeing the glimmerstones much easier.
AND if you are experiencing a blackscreen when you deliver the stones, try and turn in all 25. that fixed it for me.
also remove any glowing weapons. that also has light that stops the glimmerstones from glowing

I killed Roman before getting the magistrate out. So if he is not showing up, check the morgue. Ress him and he will give you the sword outside the castle.
I got the sword, spoke to smithy. Did a few other quests went to Batthal capital. Then later doing Arbourheart quest I don't have it in my inventory and quest is not in current or completed. Even went to Ibrahim in case it was lost but nothing.
WWWOOOOOWWWWW LMAO I was at that cave last week just grabbing all the Glymercole and GlimmerCoal I could find and just sell them. I should've guessed that the shinier stones were meant for this quest. WELP, OFF TO CHECKPOINT REST TOWN I GO TO BUY THEM AGAIN!! 😂😭
This is the first case I see a "partial delivery" option. It really bugs me to think about the potential outcomes of deliverying 15, 20 or 25 coals.
It just gives more gold, up to 20k for me
its pretty easy to get all 25 ... the back end of the cave had like 10-12 in one room.
"Just run right out and you'll be able to do it no problem!" words I will not soon forget. This quest is taking me all day because I can't get out in time without getting lost. You have 3 tries before the quest fails- sleep at an in as late as possible, you will do this quest many times and it is DD's worst experience.
Finished this quest on my first play through and got the quest again in new game +. Problem is I don’t see the sword in my inventory to repair it on my second go round. Checked forger, valuables in my inventory and storage and no luck. Any ideas?
upd. nevermind, Sara was chilling near my house, I had to drag her into the smithy for shop to be available
I finished the quest, but shop is not open and Sara is missing from the smithy completely. Is there something else that needs to be done as well?

Theres a winding staircase where the minotaur is found. The rest of them are up there in that section
can you please make a farming guide, like good places to find materials you need to upgrade items. for example im having trouble finding skeleton lords for the fell lords bones
I found one in the Tomb of Al’Guttos, watch out tho cuz there’s a lich in the room with it
If you currently have 1 of the materials you want and a doesn’t mind the gold cost you can have the forgery dude replicate the materials for you

Can someone tell me if the flex wiki is or isnt accurate with what they are actually selling. I unlocked the shop trying to get dominator armor and flight gs but they arnt there! Where do I find these items :(
They most likely do sell the armor there, you just have to do a quest to unlock it. Certain quests will update their shop options

PRO TIP:
If you're having trouble keeping the firehammer hot, you can use a Sealing Phial you get from the Sphinx riddle to put Sara inside. This keeps the hammer hot.
Thats more like a noob tip, pro would be just walking out of the dungeon there is enough time 😅

@@HowlAvalon just joking bro, its quite easy to get out in time if you have cleared and she goes back otherwise, its like a 30 sec run max. But on the other hand, i have to find a good use for that bottle yet as its a single use

The bottle didn't go away when I used it on her interestingly enough.
And yeah it's an easy run but the phial trick is just one I discovered out of curiosity to try it lol

The glowing green Glimmercoals 'turn off' every time I approach them. I picked up the non-glowing ones, but that only decreased the number of green ones that light up. It's weird. They start glowing when I'm too far away to reach them, and whenever I come near to them, they stop glowing, and other coal pieces on the other side of the cave now light up. Same thing: I run up to those, they stop glowing again. But even if I managed to catch them somehow, which the game won't let me do, I wouldn't have enough (15), as there's only a couple of them that light up. Not sure what to do now. Maybe go to the Inn and rest, and come back another time.
Edit. For anyone experiencing the same problem I mentioned here; the problem is the Lantern. When the Lantern's light is on, the coals stop glowing when you approach them.
For some reason they kept turning off for me even with lanter off, not sure why though there was this new path for the game in between

You can make a fake version and give it to the guard. He will have a different dialgoue and basically halves the gold reward

I finished all these quests, and now Brokkr won't sell or enhance weapons, and Sara is gone.Nvm, she was outside my house wanting to be to do a useless escort quest. I carried her back to the smithy, and now she is available.
I failed this quest bc it’s bugged I made it out the cave and she kept going back.. even when I was out the cave she said we failed and she’s headed back to town.. ugh smh
yes had same issue eventually did it after 100 trys annoying quest
@@fareedsunique5899 seems like there are a lot of annoying quests in this game. Do they expect me to spend hours just for baby steps? and the hidden doorways are brutal.
When I got her I went right instead of a left and the hammer was still hot
Its not working for me i cant get the smith to speak to me, both of them just repeat the same dialogue
You probably don't have the dull sword in your inventory. I was having the same issue and realized I had to get it out of storage
This would have been so good if it were for armours and capes
I failed this because I did this at night and there was a Dullahan when you exit the cave and it won't trigger Sara exiting.
same :(, i failed the quest. Sarah gave me back the regalia sword without repairing it. because of that boss keep killing my party🙄

Im done with the quest i gave 25 coal to sara then made it out of the cave with the blazehammer still lit then completed the quest. After resting for 2 days she's still not in the smithy's house. Where is she? 😐
Edit : i slept many days (4-7) still nothing BUT i went out and did some quest came one day and decided to take a peak. She was there 👌

Don’t take her completely out of the cave put her In the cave area before the cave door than exit.
I gave her the 15 glimmercoal and then I can’t accept her help it only has the “refuse” option???
This also happened to me I just went back got all 25 then it worked

I found 32 and got a ferrystone for defeating the miniboss

oh and these WEIGH way too much, I only found 6....Im gonna have to store them back at my Bakbattahl house storage and come back to the cave in multiple days or something....to restock....oh I guess there is more and the cave expands....i didnt know.
So everytime i go to him he just says "not interested " or "got any work for me? Im your man" im like yes, yes i do! I have the sword in my inventory and the only prior interaction ive had for him was getting the material for the elven tree. Am i missing something???

@@Dor_Z yeah I gave her 15 in one delivery and it worked. I think the glitch happens when you deliver a small amount first then give the rest after. I gave 5 at first, Minimum for it to work was an additional 15.

Figure what out? You get quest markers and a text that says what you need to do. There are definitely harder quests to do in the game. Most of them involve forgery.
@@EverythingWasGreat I wasn’t talking about a specific quest just in general they think casual will figure out oh yea go to this town talk to this npc to trigger a quest to complete or trigger another quest….

Might try to check your gpu connections, mine had been doing this and turns out I didn’t have the cable properly secured all the way
I failed to get her out of the cave, gave me back my sword and i gave it back to the soldier 😅. I think i locked myself out of the blacksmith this run
I got 37 Glimmercoal from the cave.
Any other quests I need to do before it becomes available? Not getting it yet.

after collecting all materials required i only get option is to refuse to give her sword..there is no other option
sword needs to be in your inventory, it was in my storage box for some reason.

I accidentally discarded the dulled regalia and now I think my quest is stuck 🙃 anyone know of a fix for this?
Search to the npc wich make forgery at Checkpoint Res, he can have the item you lost :)

What should I do if Sarah dies and I have no wake stomes
if the quest is still active, go to a morgue at Vernworth or Battahl and collect some wakestone shards from them. once you get 3 go to sara's body and revive her.

I found 38 glimmercoal in total. You can give her a maximum amout of 25. All that happens from what I’ve seen is she says wow thanks that’ll last a while. Not those exact words obviously but in a nutshell.
Also wow the dwarf actually threatens you with a blacksmith hammer. Who’s going to tell him about the 2 cyclops and griffon I killed together that one time? Try it shorty. F around and find out.

I figured it out. I competed two more quests from brant after finishing seat of the sovran and then roman finally showed up at the palace

i believe you need to do the elf questline starting by an elf npc standing by the armor smith in the first main city

@@MichaelBraund the only thing I tried was looking for him in npc history. No record so I assumed I never met him. But I did kill my fair share of guards sooooo. If they don't get added from that it could be it, so he might of been permanently dead by now

I just completed the quest and all the hard work for some gold and xp. Does not worth it… and i came here just to make sure i really did 100% of it
