That's a nice-looking bow I wish the dragon X8 had the round dampeners in the riser like that bow does I like the smooth draw of the dragon x 8 I like the way the x10 looks but that rough draw at the end of the draw cycle I'm not sure if I'd like that or not especially after using the dragon X8 with its smooth draw all the way through love the video God bless you and everyone who reads this
I like it. Hopefully the price point is right. I like that they have incorporated some of the limb and riser dampening that the more expensive bows are using. I’m excited to see the more extensive review you do on this bow.
I used to shoot Fatboy arrows years ago for 3D competitions. While I currently shoot Elite bows, I want to get a X8 for my son as his first bow. I’d like to also get this bow for myself to shoot a little!
Yeah, I have both and they are good for the money. This one is a cross between APA and Xpedition and I'm liking it so far. Not as smooth of a draw as Elite though.
nice bow, it look similar to hoyt procomp on the riser but with the latest technology from sanlida, i have used hero x10 for 2 years it's a great bow, i've compete with other archer that used american compound bow and i make it through to the final round with hero x10 bow, so when sanlida release a new bow i'm very excited to see it performance and price point, FYI in Indonesia sanlida bow always bring a very interesting price point againts US bow and the performance also very competitive againts US bow with less price, its a very good bow.....i like your review its very detail....salam dari Indonesia
@@seansoutdoors Will the dragon 8 tune well for a fixed blade? I shoot big, 300 grain 3 blade fixed broadheads in my recurve. I’d really like to shoot the same in a compound. Do you have a recommendation?
It depends on the weight of the stabilizer. If you are hunting then you would.have a hard time.shooting out of a ground blind with a ten inch stabilizer ... If hunting I'd say maybe 8 inch would.be about the longest I'd use.
Did you ever get the bow to tune for fixed blades? I have a new dragon 10 and I can not get the low nock tear to go away without moving the rest down way out of level.
I do have a bow press, according to what you are saying I need to be adding a twist or 2 to the control cable correct? Then once I get it where I want it i can adjust the top draw stop to hit the limb the same time as the bottom?
The issue I had was horizontal, not vertical when it comes to the broadhead flight. For low nock tears, you have a few things to try. One, check the spine of the arrow to make sure it is the proper spine for the setup. If it is, you can add twist to the control cable (the one that connect the two cams to each other). Leave the bottom draw stop where it is, but then slide the top draw stop so that it hits the limb in time with the bottom one, and then shoot through paper again. Another method is to leave the control cable alone but loosen just the bottom limb bolt a little until the nock travel is correct. You may need to rest the draw stop timing depending on how it all impacts the rotation after loosening the bottom limb bolt.
Thanks I’ll play with that when I get a chance! As of now it’s at least shooting mechanical heads very well so I will just use those until I can get it fine tuned for fixed heads. Thanks again
Quite different feel. Very different cams. The torrex had a much more rounded cam on the bottom limb and also did not have sliding stops, so the Dragon 10 is much easier and more versatile to tune. The draw cycle feels different too. The Dragon has less drop into the valley and slower to ramp up to peak weight in the draw cycle, it seems. I would say the Dragon 10 is closer to an Xpedition and an APA than a Hoyt.
That company has really stepped the game up on making bows. I would love to buy one of those
👍👍

It's definitely a different feel with the draw cycle

I'm expecting it to be a price that's well worth it compared to what we are used to seeing.
I'm afraid of the price being high as well, as Sanlida's other "10" bows are $800+.

Holy SHNIKES....it's sooooo quiet...
I like the riser setup....

I can’t wait to get one my myself I’ve got there Dragon X8 can’t wait for this to come out do you know when ? It’ll be out ?
I don't know an exact date. I just know they are hoping soon
@@seansoutdoors okay sounds good thanks
👍
Man I’m liking the looks on this bow, might be a real nice upgrade from my Bear Legit
👍👍👍
How is the accuracy and how quiet is it? Are there any red flags beside the stiff pull at the back?
The bow is accurate for field points and mechanical broadheads. It does not tune well for fixed blade broadheads.

Thanks for the feedback

Yes, the Dragon 8 tunes pretty easily for fixed blade broadheads. At least mine did.
God bless sean on the great content
Thanks!
What length of front carbon fiber stabilizer would you recommend to use with Dragon 10? Would a 10" be good on that bow?
It depends on the weight of the stabilizer. If you are hunting then you would.have a hard time.shooting out of a ground blind with a ten inch stabilizer ... If hunting I'd say maybe 8 inch would.be about the longest I'd use.
I want to get this bow. But my draw length is 25 and the bow starts at 27.
Bummer

Same for me. God bless you.
What's the Axel to Axel length? And how much do you think the bow is gonna be?
33.5
@@seansoutdoors Thank you sir

At first i thought it was a hoyt😉 cant wait to get this 1

Howdy bud.. let's check it out !!

31.5 inch draw length! How tall are you
Over 6 feet
What’s the axe to axle Sean?
it's right around 33.5"
How much does this Dragon 10 go for?
I'm still waiting for them to release that information. We should.kniw within a month or so.
I don't even see it on their site yet...
As I said in the video, it's not out yet.
Where do I find this bow?
It's not out yet but should be on the market pretty soon. Stay tuned to my channel and you'll find out
$500? wow thats a deal
👍
Why take this name----dragon? Why not take another name?
I urged them to pick a different name but they didn't..I think it's something in their culture but I'm not sure.
Looks like a Chinese knockoff Hoyt.
I'm so glad they built this with sliding limb stops. I never understood why Hout didn't do that when they used a hybrid cam system.
@@seansoutdoors how would this compare to the torrex xt?
