Very cool man! Doing the stuff you wanted to as a kid but couldn’t. Now you have the time and gear to play again. I lived four years on the water in the East Bay and remember those driftwood structures while sailing around between Berkeley and San Pablo on my little sailboat. San Francisco Bay is one of the most beautiful places in the world, especially at night with all the bridges lit up and San Francisco in the background. You found a really cool spot below the Bay Bridge with that million dollar view. Really miss those days of adventure over there as a kid but it must be even cooler to explore those places again as an adult. Different perspective I’m sure. Peace and aloha from Hawaii and just recently Seattle. Stay safe, have fun. 🤙🏼
Thanks again, Sean! Yes, very exciting and invigorating to get to do the things I dreamed about as a kid with the time & resources of an adult. Recently reduced my hours at work from 5 days/40 hrs to 4 days/32 hrs to make more time for these endeavors and absolutely no regrets! SF Bay views are incredible, as are Hawaii & PNW… I trust you’ve been enjoying your time there. 🤙
Hi wes from the UK , as a kid i loved building what we call camps or forts , so to do this as an adult must have been fun , i saw in another vid & this one you use stag chilli i also get mine from aldi over here lol , i'm not a fan of creepy crawlys or bugs so bein in just a sleeping bag not sure i could do that but i bet that was funny with the raccoon i bet he was just as surprised as you lol
A raccoon...! [hehe] I wasn't even aware they could swim. I knew it either had to swim or it was somehow taken to the island. I did a search and was satisfied with the first four somewhat similar results.
Oof yea, I came very close to stepping on a nail before, I somehow reacted fast enough to take my weight off the ball off my foot - went thru my shoe, but not my foot. Was on an island I kayaked too in Maine also I think.
Great spot, unique view
Right?? One of my favorite spots!
This channel is seriously underrated. Keep it up!
That means a lot! I will keep em coming 😉

awesome fort by the bay, reminds me of childhood building forts 👍
I know, it was so fun! I want to go back and build an even bigger one!!
I lived in driftwood for 3 days with only a gallon of water and an apple during my Outward Bound course
Happy belated birthday 🎂

I know right, island raccoons?! I wonder how long they've been inhabiting the island 🤔
Not that you didn't know, but...
At least now you know wildlife on islands is possible.
Just be careful out there, yo!
Great view!!! It's too bad there weren't more flat boards for ya
Very cool adventure Wes!

Glad you avoided it... took over a week for me to recover - my job is literally walking around on my feet all day 💀
The extra lights on the Embarcadero Center in Downtown San Francisco say this is Christmas Holiday Season.
It was indeed!! Just a few days after Thanksgiving
I love your content glad I found you.
So glad you are enjoying 😊 Thanks for watching
This was inspiring to watch
So good to hear 😊 Thanks again for watching!
My upcoming 50th is going to be just a GPS coordinate. With a time. Send to those who I want to be there. And they can join me at the campfire 😊
Happy belated Birthday..🎉
Thank you 🙏
Because of bugs and snakes always carry a net to cover you and a light weight tarp, great camp otherwise.
True, I guess the bug mask on my face wouldn't have prevented them from crawling into my sleeping bag 😬
The raccoon wanted to cuddle with you
As long as he doesn't bite, I might be fine with that lol
great video / from Thailand
Thanks for watching from Thailand - beautiful country, hope to visit one day! 🏝️⛰️
FORTNITE
Pretty much 😂
