@@forgottenmotorcycles Las Vegas. Just called to check and they didn’t have any black ones. They have a used 2020 with 700 miles. Do you know if those have any issues vs the 2022
@@jrladislao I understanding is 2021 was a year that had the worst stalling problem. I think 20 was good so was 22. Mine was a 21 and the shop had to do some work to it to get it to run right. Just love these bikes. Good luck
@@forgottenmotorcycles appreciate your input. Watching your vids made me look in to these bikes and I didn’t even know I wanted one. NEver even heard of em haha
@@jrladislao I understand, I didn't know I wanted one until I put about 180 miles on one day and just fell in love. I really enjoy this motorcycle a lot. It will do anything except go fast.
The bikes owner wanted to make this as light and dirt oriented as possible. He does ride a lot of dirt so I'm guessing he wanted it to clear as much mud as possible. Wahoo!
@@forgottenmotorcycles I've got mixed feelings about that. Sometimes I think it's great but then I think about Honda XL and think that it's not good at all 😂
I've seen some of those welds, especially on the older bikes. Have not seen any failures yet. Hopefully they are good. Overall, the bike quality is good. Wahoo!
He left the front sprocket stock and installed the larger 48 sprocket with new chain on the rear. This left him the option to change the front sprocket later if needed. It's a great bike. Wahoo!
Did he say how much money he spent, or did I missed that? And, once you add up all the cost, could he had gotten another stock bike that is a bit more capable, or at least to part with the end result Himalayan? Don't get me wrong, I am not putting the Hime down. I have a Ténéré 700, but the moment I pay it off chances are that I will be running, not walking, to buy me a Hime. Even though people tell me not to buy one, because if I have a mighty T7 chances are that I will get bored with the Hime. Something just tells me that that won't be the case. Yes my T7 is definitely a lot more capable bike on and off road, but for some reason the Hime just speaks to me and calls to me. I just love it's look and personality (if that makes sense to you). May be I identify with it. People understating it and picking on it. Even though to me all bikes have a heart (yeah call me crazy), to me the Hime has a heart that is bigger than most. Like the little bike that could. I think that if a T7 went off roading and came back and talked to a Hime, the conversation would go something like this. T7: Oh girl, it was crazy! It was muddy, then it got sandy, then really technical with lots of baby heads, then very steep hill climbs and descents. I don't known if you could handle all that. Hime looks at her with a grin on her face and says: Here hold my margarita! 😂
Its owner is a motorcycle mechanic and got the bike for a discount. The same is true with the accessories. Being a mechanic he's able to do all the work himself. I've never ridden a t7 but can only imagine how much fun it would be :-)
The Himalayan Slayer!! Love riding with Todd, and enjoy trying to keep up with him on my KTM 500😳. Yes the “Himalayan Slayer” can ride!!
Todd is a mad man on two wheels! Hear he may be getting a KTM 500 himself? Wahoo!
they look amazing like this, real badass - bystanders with no knowledge would never guess it is a mid 20hp machine
Love these motorcycles. Wahoo!
Excellent vid and a great build!
Glad you liked it!

Another great review!
Let's do another one. Thanks again!
Looks lovely! Tastefully done ✅
The owner did a very good job on this bike. Thank you! 😊
Thank you.
could you provide a list of your mods as well names of suppliers? great job!!
I'll ask the owner if he will post something like that here. I know a lot of the product was from Baxtercycle.com Maybe go take a look there. Wahoo!
Go to Hiscocks and you can get a decent cam while you're there!
You chopped the rear fender. Are you not getting mud from behind?

I think so too!
Does this bike need a rant?

I saw one video that showed some very bad weld quality... I presume with what he's put it through that the welds seem good.

What river is that on the right side ?
Nebraska's mighty Platte River. Was a beautiful area. Wahoo!
Excellent custom Himalayan, not for me, but none the less a great looking bike with fit for purpose mods
Thank you, Sir. You've got a wonderful Himalayan yourself. Love all Australian videos, especially those with Himalayans. Go Moto Num Num Wahoo!
Just shared that wonderful video of yours in about half a dozen places. Absolutely amazing! Thank you
@Forgotten Motorcycles really appreciate you taking the time to do that Keith, thank you!
@@motonumnum I really enjoyed the video. Looking forward to more of that kind of thing. Thank you so much.

Why taller seat? Is it because of your tall height?
The bikes owner is about 6-8. He is very tall. Wahoo!
Drive chain sprockets setting is unclear. Is it a 16 T in front and 48 T at rear ?

The front is stock and the rear is 40T.
