Well done on hitting your half-panned goal! 🩷 beautiful choice for PTP old faithful ✨ I reckon you’ll have lots of fun with it, even with the red matte! No doubt you’ll figure out some creative ways of mixing it with other shadows that you’ll end up loving. I’m always impressed by your combination suggestions. 🥰
Thank you, Dora! 🩷 Until Ruth and Kathleen mentioned using the red as a blush, that hadn't yet occurred to me--but I was able to get more use than I expected out of the coral shade in my Dream St. palette that way last year, so I'm going to try it--maybe blended together with the peach or mauve shades just to make it a bit more muted. Lots of possibilities! I'm excited!
You did fantastic with the 2 palettes and I think you’ve picked a great one for this year! I loved my carli palette as well but found the shades I loved I had in other palettes and with hoed ABH tends to age I passed it on. Maybe that reddish could work as a light blush or mix with the blues to purple it up a bit 🤔
Thank you, Ruth! 🩷 I had not thought of mixing it into the blues! What a brilliant idea! You know I love a good purple, I will definitely have to try that.
Congratulations on hitting pans in colorpop palette, the shadows there are usually firmly pressed and can imagine how hard it was to reach for it when the quality had deteriorated !You can use red as a b lush, or as a eyeliner: red as a base, and the smimmery blues as topping and as a result a purple shimmery liner?
Ooh! I love the idea of creating a purple shimmery liner. I will definitely try that! I’ve used the red as a blush a couple of times now and it’s actually worked quite well.
I get bored quickly. Pan that palette is not a good project for me. But I chose TF chocolate gold to focus on for old faithful. My goal is to incorporate at least one shadow for each look. Hopefully I can hit a pan or two. We're only 11 days into the new year but it's going well so far 😄

Oh, that Carli Bybel palette is so pretty.
Right!? I knew I had to pick it because I got so excited just looking at it…

Use the red shade as a blush!!
I'm going to have to try that!
Okay, I tried this today--I mixed the red shade in with the mauvey "Bybel" shade, and it turned out so well!
Yeh 🎉 glad it worked.

That's a great approach! I hope you hit some pans.
