      after watching these vids, went to practice twice a week, never use to do that before cos I work everyday and its hard. So tired every day but it's worth it. Basketball is life.

    The hip follows the basketball. Basketball is faster than your hip as a reaction. The defense if there any good they should know this. In a stationary posture lean forward and push the basketball down with your shoulders then use your dribbling arm to place the ball. People who think they know this are utilizing a tool most people don't.

    some how these drills are more for beginners. for seasoned ball handlers, these moves are quite natural. and tbh i find it hard to 'use the move' in the game. its normally a very natural and read the defender when i try to past someone

      it shifts the momentum of the defender to go in the opposite direction of the player. As the player sets it up with the scissor step he changes direction but the defender is still in a neutral stance
      Allen Iverson, Kyrie Irving, Jamal Crawford etc all use a similar style of movement

      Basically in order to split the defense make a setting to go both ways. It means a tighter and tighter defense depending on how bothersome the offensive player's footing is.

      Well, asians are not very very focused on sports unlike the usa you can skip college and pursue a career in sports. Here in asia academics are much important than sports. Having a diploma is much important than sports. If asians train like usa athletes maybe asians would beat those countries that are on top today.

Even if youre not athletic enough but you play smart you can surpass the athletic players. Its about being smart in the game not being athletic.

      thats cos you're watching at a 120 frame per second slow mo with a rewind function. Referees aren't likely to call him on such a slight hand under ball movement.

    Wow, on every possession, #12's center of hand goes below the center of the ball. He carries literally every time. He's been watching too much Isaiah Thomas. At any level below the NBA, you will be causing a lot of turnovers, at least in the USA.
