FIY @5:36 if you say that you have to tune the derailleur every ride and it skips through gears 4-7, there is a very high possibility that's because your derailleur hanger is bent. Get yourself a cheap derailleur hanger alignment tool and watch some videos on how to use it.
Good fix for NX, GX> derailleur and shifter upgrade 😅 If you ever want a good performance hack for the DB8's you can bleed the brakes with the pads on since you'll almost certainly upgrade to semi or metallic 😂 then use the sram black thing, not the green bleed block, that way brakes will feel ultra crispy. I use them with 2.3 mm rotors it fits no problem.
I found that it’s much more reliable and I’ve ad it in for 5 months and had nothing wrong with it and I’ve used it to race dh and enderuo and it has been solid
ive been riding a 2020 clash for the last half a year and there bloody impressive bikes, capable of during literally anything, highly recommend picking one up, just make sure you get 38mm stanchions as any smaller get twisty with so much travel.
@@fud1376 I don’t have too many steep climbs around my area so I haven’t really given it any harsh gear shifts, but I’ve defiantly have had a few moments where it’s skipped gears.

Nx derailleurs are notoriously bad. I just upgraded mine to a gx and i like it much more

@@Alomtb i found that your better off pumping then peddling, pump every roller and pump into and out of the first berm.
But still on the flat ground make sure to peddle and over time you’ll be able to peddle less and less
