Being pretty is always not something to feel good about. Being pretty is rather a disadvantage. When you are pretty people only focus on your face and they don't care about your personality and your talent. Anything you do which gets recognition they are always like "just because you are pretty" and about that pretty person's talent/hardwork nobody cares! Even if anything bad happens to the pretty one they gonna say "don't worry everything is going to be fine cuz you are pretty". Prettiness is not always a blessing rather a curse💔

Definitely not a disadvantage because they’re usually very popular and get more successful work opportunities when they’re pretty but their skills as an idol do get undermined and their skills are underestimated because people focus on their looks
I'm not an army (nothing against BTS, just not a fan of their music tbh) but I definitely got interested in BTS because of Jin's confidence. People don't realize how hard it must be to have so much confidence being in the KPOP INDUSTRY like do people not realize that many fans and just the public in general picks apart every member of every kpop group and always want to find the bad in them? And Jin can still stay confident knowing millions of people have something bad to say about him? That is honestly so inspiring. I have also heard that he started off not being as confident due to the fact the he wasn't the best dancer, rapper, or singer amongst the members but started to grow his confidence, so I feel like he's the least narcissistic since he knows how it felt to not be confident. Irene is one of the sweetest idols ever and such a good leader. She treats her members so well, especially Yeri. And Jennie got so much hate for her performances, when the truth was that she was suffering from an ongoing ankle injury and motion sickness which made it harder for her to perform. Also who is calling IU boring? She is one of the most interesting idols in the entire industry, and one of the best kdrama actresses as well.

What do all of these idols have in common? They’re conventionally good looking. As someone who’s been considered really pretty their whole life, I can tell they experience similar struggles to me. When I don’t smile, people are scared of me. When I’m confident in my looks I’m conceited. When I’m too tired to do something I’m being a princess. When I work hard I’m being a try hard. It doesn’t make sense, I can’t do anything without it being negative.
