@@DieguiHerrera It's likely that you don't have an idea what influence the music industry got over time, especially at the time Risk was recorded. Considering Dave's opinion about Marty, you shouldn't point fingers too quickly in a situation where the lines are so blurry that you don't know who's responsible for what.
Office politics. Marty was maybe a bit overqualified and the decision had to be made to pay more to keep him or look for a cheaper option. They were at their peak at this time and sales were good on previous records. Marty was just another employee.
Probably the last concert of Friedman with Megadeth. If this is the solo that was originally going to be on the album, I see no reason why it had not been recorded, it's very good and because of that the band lost a great guitarist.
S1iznc1d3 They already made a lot of Trashy-Metal material, why would they need any more of it? Risk was a nice change for them and this song is absolutely amazing as a Pop Tune, i would argue its even better because of the solos (Even though Marty’s original one got deleted lol)
Bro as a huge thrasher I still absolutely love this EP from Megadeth, they're still a thrash band and the best one, but hell let em do their thing dude whatever they do they always do it good.
This song grows on you Tbh is good but is not legendary as rust in peace Same with Metallica man their load/reload album, only hated because it wasn’t metal.
If stupid capital record would have approved marty solo 😤. Then again his japenese shit is pretty awesome just mis that random ass pick holding n amazing music in my life.
You guys quoting Dave saying management didn’t tell Marty. Well that was a chance that Dave could’ve done differently, let Marty play his solo live. But no, Marty was doing what “management” told him to do. You can spot out the liar pretty easily. Dave was afraid of Marty’s influence to the band so he tried to get rid of Marty. It’s obvious.
So let me get this straight. Marty friedman one of the best metal guitarist/composer's of the 20th century recorded a solo and the "management" didn't "like it?" And had dave mustain replace it!? Must had been a super and I mean super duper supper duper super mega bad solo for marty to be over recorded, I highly doubt this, I want to hear Marty's solo. This is bullcrap! And what the hell dave you can't tell your management no?! Wtf? Last time I checked you were literally megadeth
Under rated album. If it didn't have the Megadeth name, it would have been big.
Same with Metallica and load
@@louisianaball metallica is awful. except first 3 albums.
@@jmunj I guess you think different but I quite like load and reload
@@louisianaball load and reload are amazing.
@@jmunj Metallica doesn't have one bad album. even St. Anger has its spot.
How could management not like Marty's solo on this song fucking up a great line-up
The manager was Mustaine. Don't be naïve 😅

Same thoughts wanted to hear the solo from marty
Office politics. Marty was maybe a bit overqualified and the decision had to be made to pay more to keep him or look for a cheaper option. They were at their peak at this time and sales were good on previous records. Marty was just another employee.
That's not Marty's original solo, you can actually hear that solo in the record since it's Mustaine's solo. The Marty's one got lost.
I love this song. I hope they will play this song again
Dave’s voice is shot up as hell rn and most Risk songs take a lot of effort to sing
Very beautiful song.... both music- and lyric- wise
I remember this show i was there
ÁUß Code Well, accounting for inflation, yes it was expensive. The whole ticket industry is a huge rip off

This is the original solo on the album. Its the one Dave did to replace Martys. I heard Martys and it didnt fit the song.
Ralph Brewster how’d you listen to Marty’s original?
I highly doubt Marty would do a solo that didn't fit a song. He's an absolute master.
@@ralphbrewster3241 do you have a leak copy of marty solo
I think this might be it but im not sure

When Dave still had his voice.
He still does, I just came back from a Megadeth concert and it was amazing!
I have always loved Risk
RISK IS A GOOD ALBUM, DAVE MUSTAINE IS THE KING OF THE HARD ROCK AND METAL
jesumuc I agree, but actually he is the godfather of thrash metal
@@s1iznc1d34 thought the same thing. I love Risk now. 🤷♂️

I love this song! I love this solo
1999 was the best year.
Reason Marty left. They replaced his solo and didn't tell him. He said. Seeeeeeeyaaaa
Seen them in Raleigh NC, the Old Rodeo club during this tour. I was shocked to see only a few hundred people.
Holy crap I was at this show!
I m a huge fan of Metallica, but still i dont dislike megadeath, i love them aswell. This is one of their beautiful song.💚
The rivalry been over
We can like em both
I feel like Megadeth and Metallica are pretty different. Both the best at what they are
Weird watching Marty Friedman play Dave's solo. He did good though.
Wow that's Dave's solo!? Hmmm! That's actually quite well phrased compared to a typical Mustaine solo! Well done Dave!
"RISK" - THE BEST!!!
Gold Album!
Bro as a huge thrasher I still absolutely love this EP from Megadeth, they're still a thrash band and the best one, but hell let em do their thing dude whatever they do they always do it good.
Álbum incompreendido
I want to see Marty version of solo in this...
Good song, good performance
This is a great song, I liked it from the first time I heard it when this album came out.
- Same thing with Washington is next on United Abominations!
Love this song man. No heavy riffs
Marty and Degrasso!!
Biting the hand that feeds you. Period
This song grows on you
Tbh is good but is not legendary as rust in peace

I am one of those punks who liked those same albums, I was in middle school, I didn’t even know what they looked like, just enjoyed their great music
We need a cover version of this with the vocals sung in a normal way...
Rock n roll + heAvy
good song. sad that this album wasnt well accepted. It was just too different from their other albums.
♥
Such a spectacular song.
Dave Mustaine is a genius \m/
Legend
So the one on the album risk is played by Mustaine right? And Marty played it not exactly like the album, but it was really close, that's radddd
Risk. ❤
+1 for observance
This song sounded like it was supposed to be in pablo honey album by radiohead.
Great song, but I'm so... just mad at Dave?? I read the story of what happened and Marty didn't deserve it at all man
If stupid capital record would have approved marty solo 😤. Then again his japenese shit is pretty awesome just mis that random ass pick holding n amazing music in my life.
70s rock vibe

1:45 lmao what the hell is he babbling ?
also short-haired Marty is best Marty !
I was jealous of degrasso's shop. And i started collecting cymbals
Dave Strumming… I’m not used to seeing this.
this riff is knda like what i wanted the intro riff to Almost Honest NOT to be the first time i heard it.
Se extraña esa voz de Mustaine
La actual es una mierda en vivo pero en estudio me gusta mas la actual que la vieja
Dystopia se escucha muy brutal con la voz actual de dave
That chick doing the lead singing sure has big hands.
If Guns N' Roses had written this song, it would've been a global hit. Same applies to the whole Risk album.
Cote, bro, te acuerdas!
So they lost their best lead guitarist for this track?
Not a fan of this song…maybe it’ll grow on me.
It's better than aftermetallicablackalbun's experiences.
Joao jr79 not at all
Load and Reload were heavier and better than this...
Chris Skehan they were also more shitty. Can’t stand the drumming on St Anger too.
@@Ae0liann true heavier dosen't always mean better keep in mind...
but load and reload were still better
I'd rather the studio version.
radiohead
3:38 Victor Wooten & Stevie Wonder in one person ;D hahaha..!!
but they both are now white ;D
sorry im mexican :/
Wooten??¿
who are the players?
Dave Mustaine, Dave Ellefson, Marty Friedman and Jimmy Degrasso.

The greatest song he ever wrote almost ruined him.
Ok....
Man, Dave became a "nice shampoo and expensive clothes guy" by the late '90s. Sad years for Megadeth.
