  • The Bunker Hill Mine is a past producer of silver, lead and zinc and is located in the Silver Valley in North Idaho. Pat McClary, the Senior Process Maintenance Planner for Bunker Hill, highlights the progress made since October of last year when refurbishment of the Pend Oreille mill equipment began. Flotation cells are currently being refurbished, and the assembly of other mill equipment has begun for instillation in the mill.

Great work. I used to work for the original Bunker Hill, Zinc Plant Cell Room and Smelter. Nice to see it really coming back.

Where’s the Bunker Hill Mine? Is there any surface mining opportunities or is it all going underground? And what does the mine life look like right now?

I sure hope that if BH closes that Monetary Metal loan that they either are smart enough to leave it in physical silver until they need to liquidate as expenses arise or they put it into short term treasuries. There is an extreme risk of bail in's depending on which bank they choose and it's only going to get worse as CMBS start failing. They need to protect this loan principal and be damn smart about it. Best of luck!!!!
