Keeping up with Kyrie's quickness and having to fight over screens again and again was super tiring for Ant, so Ant guarding Kyrie may be a Win in the Long Game strategy
I think we need to look at this mavs team, as currently constructed, as a team that probably would have won 60+ games
Next year is going to be a fun regular season then hopefully because the team I think is pretty much the dame barring what happens with DJJ. Hopefully, they can find a team to trade thj to as well and somehow upgrade that spot

Last summer after the Mavs got the 10th pick but before the draft my fiance’s father was in Vegas and I had him put $100 on the Mavs to win the title for me. The payout is $3400. In October he passed away from cancer at UT southwestern (the same hospital Lively’s mom did). Him and I used to watch a lot of the games together. Our first real bonding was in the 2022 playoff run. Your analysis of where the mavs can do better is spot on bud.
After watching the game for the 2nd time, I notice Jaden Hardy was amazing in his limited minutes. They should run off Jaden McDaniels and Naz Reid off the 3pt line and try to strip the ball when they put the ball on floor (they are a bit weak there). PJ should be trying to draw offensive fouls from KAT bc he is throwing his shoulder into PJ very aggressively where offensive foul calls can be made there.
They are likely going to blitz LuKai on the P&R so Gafford/Lively have to he ready, and PJ to an extent.
Kat-gobert pick and roll is dangerous if they can get it going

The Mavs are the best defense in the Playoffs .. And they have the best backcourt as well .. Every one keeps saying the TWolves a bigger .. But they are only an average of half inch bigger .. The Dallas centers are killer in this series ..
They didnt get away with murder. They let the players throw up 3s that they were comfortable with. Mcdaniels was lights out in the 1st half, no one saw that coming and idk how realistic it is that he remains that hot lol. Managing to still win with that shooting performance is huge
It's fairly realistic if he gets the same looks. What isn't consistent is Ant hitting his own 3s, especially the deep ones, and it showed in the second half. They got very comfortable with the outside shot.
