It equips to the monster it summons, so s:p wouldn't have been able to hit the equipped monster. Either way, cali was in a choke hold cause either the same thing happens or dragoon is summoned, then tributed triggering it's effect

He could have. But I imagine with Kirin in hand, he needed another Fire to destroy with that to summon itself. Then Garunix trigger in grave to summon, then trigger its on summon effect to destroy another Kirin from deck.

@@thecalieffect i mean you can choose to destroy barong from deck to get a search next turn and still have princess to pop another one. It's mainly for a fire monster on field, yes it's nice use kirin for summon + pop, but he has IP on field so you will need another body for link summon any way
Honestly I'm tired of Fire decks legit having dumb recursion. Tj really needs to play Lancea the ice mountain simply just stop cali from activating 9 effects from the gy and or hand. The generic (extra deck) fire monsters are more broken than Barrone...
I'm pretty sure Ponix needs to be already in hand to get its effect to special summon itself. Only Sacred Fire King Garunix can activate when added. Ponix has to see the card be destroyed
