"It is not piracy. It is salvage." --Filk Zombie Видеоклипы
Wanton games, played in the dark
The oldest call, we do not hark
The tunnels dark and sweet with soil
Detain us from your human toil
This is our world
The pattern that must be
This is our world
The pattern makes us free
Though once you came from far away
This world is ours, by new rules we play
This is our world
You hunt us through the rocks and rills
But cannot breach the hollow hills
You fear us for we've lost your way
It's better that you stay away
Chorus
And now the ships have come again
To impose on us the rules of men
But we're not human anymore
No reckoning of common lore
Chorus
The Calibans are masters still
Beware of we who work their will
The pattern growing day by day
Molds soil and stone and human clay
Chorus
Oh, this is about the Weirds in 40,000 in Gehenna! neat.
Thank you ! I was wondering what the source for THIS song was. I'll have to find that one, now !
what?
I get a very Scp-esque vibe from this song. The pattern makes us free... the pattern makes us free...
SCP is sorta sci-fi, so I can see it.
It's kinda the opposite of SCP- it's about something that is both alien and incomprehensible to mankind, but that is not inherently inimical, simply different.

Its a continuation of the previous song "40.000 in gehenna". This is what happened to them.
As for who... Calibans! Caliban being an enslaved spirit from Shakespeare.. I'm thinking space elves. Not Tolkien elves, the older ones, the ones that made the north fear them.
Hollow hills .. dead give away. So space elves. Maybe a terraforming effort , with the colonists in cryo sleep.. a stalled effort, until humans arrived. Now the plan, the Pattern, can go forward at last, and the Calibans freed.
Wouldn't take much to Brainwash and change them, especially the azi among them. Its not like Human DNA is stable or anything. We are constantly mutating so..
Would anyone have the lyrics for this song? That or a link for me to get a copy/file of the song?

Is there any chance I'd be able to get source files for this album?
Tankooni If you want to download the music, you could (though I am neither advocating nor condoning it) just download it from RUclips with an app.
I have definitely never done this, and I am definitely not doing it right now.
Heyo Thomas, ty for the advice. I may or may not have already done so ;D

@@Robert-qk7si In the age of bandcamp, patreon etc. it is possible to find an artist's account and make a donation. Someone who pays isn't called a pirate but a customer.

Doesn't seem that weird to me.
I always took it as Wyrd. As in strangeness of essence, something that is beyond common understanding and even beyond ones basis of understanding.
It's actually about the weirds from 40,000 in Gehenna
@@Robert-qk7si The Weirds, if I recall correctly, are humans who chose to live with the local "calibans," which are local dinosaur/lizard like creatures. Naturally, the Weirds are indeed very weird. At one point, they induct a scientist studying the calibans into their ranks by dragging her into their tunnels, stripping her, and forcing themselves upon her. She spends an extended period living among and as a Weird, and manages at last to understand the nature of the caliban and communicate this to the people of her expedition.
