Oh, you folks are doing fine. Life has priorities! We've been here 31 years and still haven't replaced the damaged bedroom doors. When we had an extension done (in the middle of the house) I tacked sheets to the crumbling former-kitchen walls and we pretended we had nice drywall until the workmen got around to it. Your sequences are so well done and engaging and unique. Brilliant uses of the old wood. Well done!
Your wood looks like oak. What a beautiful find. Years ago we lost our property and gorgeous 100 year old trees and had our oaks and liquid amber trees milled, dried and then made them into gorgeous dining tables. Well done guys. Love ypur vlogs
Yeah, we're pretty sure it is, so lucky to have the chance to save some of it! Sorry to hear about your property, but it sounds like you made the best of it, I bet those tables were really something special. 😍
Hi Jack and Becs. You both. Never cease to amaze me! Fabulous ideas and you somehow always get them done! That bathroom is looking Beautiful!!! Stripping furniture is the Worst! When I was young like you I stripped a full bedroom of old mahogany pieces. It took me a Full Summer! They came out beautiful but never again😅. Some of the pieces are still in the family. That wood is gorgeous. So many ideas. I do love the bed style you found and the paint for the top piece. Amazing as always. See you again soon❤❤❤
Aw thanks Kathy, we love hearing your stories! That sounds like a lot of work, but worth it in the end if the pieces are still around. 🥰 We're hoping to use a little more of the wood in the last couple of things for the bathroom, and then it'll finally be done! 😅
A lot of hard work but the bathroom looks very nice. Great job! I love your videos, you two have such a great chemistry. Brightens my day and makes me smile. Thank You.
Sadly most of it has already started to rot, or been attacked pretty heavily by borer, but we're definitely going to do what we can to save as much as possible. So glad you love the channel, thanks for the support!
That wood was a great find and love the creative use of it. You have achieved a lot since your last video! Paint/varnish stripper a pain (keep pets away!) always had to revert to sander myself lol. Want to see you quaffing champagne in loads of bath bubbles soon😆😅 you've earnt it!
Haha yess bubbles and bubbles sounds perfect! Not long now! Will definitely skip the stripper next time and get straight into sanding, what a huge disappointment 😅
Thank you! Soo close now to being finished 😁 Not sure yet, as soon as we can afford to give it a proper go really. If things keep going well with the channel, that should help us get in there sooner 😉 Plenty to do in this one for now though, so we'll get tons of practice!
The bathroom is looking so good. It’s better to let things take time than to hurry and make mistakes.
Haha yes, let's say that we're taking our time on purpose 😉 glad you're liking the bathroom!
Wonderful Awesome Spectacular Yaaay!!! 👏😁🥰❤️
Thank you! Thanks! Merci! 🥰
The old wood looks great - we've got real "big plank envy"!😂
Hey guys! Yes we're quite proud of our big planks over here 😂 was almost painful to cut the first one in half 🤣🤣
Love the blue wall color and the live edge shelf! Nice
