@@tibchy144 tbh there's nothing wrong with present trance sounds, what it somehow imo that it lacks is that special yesteryears music instruments that were in it. Its hard to explain technically. Also maybe taste of long 8mins or 9mins full song has long gone idk.

It's mad seeing him playing to massive crowds like this now. In 2000 he used to warm-up for the resident DJ's, or guest DJ's at Room At The Top in Bathgate, Scotland. Those were happy days. Always knew he'd be massive one day.

Just listen to tracks like Nova Zembla, This Light between us, and his older tracks like Communication...this man is a true genius, and no matter how much you think u know about this, we all know how amazingly gifted he is. Armin will forever be #1 to me. The only one of his gigs i have ever been to has been the best experience in my life.
the origin of any good music is CLASSICAL MUSIC. Anyone who listens and understands Classical Music will understand (not necessarily LOVE) Trance Music - they all share the same rising elements and similar harmony. Usually people who don't understand Trance, will not understand Classical. To me, most uplifting and progressive Trance is as close to Classical as you can get without sacrificing the beat
Do never compare again. Every producer has his own unique style.. Armin is a pioneer in Trance, among many others too.. Armin is one of the Best so far.. so just enjoy him...
