04:01 - The point here about attacking friends is only for fun... makes me wish they implemented clans, so you could team up with friends and fight a clan leaderboard. There are so many great quirky game modes within this... I just wish there were more for the end-game period.
Freakin' love this game though!!!!
Loved your livestream about it!
Thank you @@VicSuhettBR! :)
I’m supporting my PSVR2 game developers so I picked this game up and legendary tales this morning….both games are awesome and huge!
Of course, I am not saying that all mini games are bad. The recent Ghost Signal is a very interesting game that is worth buying. I highly recommend this game.
Thanks Bryan, I will be spending some money today. Maybe it is a good thing that not all games are winners these past months. Definitely saved me a lot of money 😅
Thanks again for your review, Bryan ❤. Already got TOO MANY VR GAMES though haha, so I'll be first vampiring throughout vampire bloodlines and some others before I pick this one up.
This one's got potential for sure and it looks like there's gonna be more content added in the future.
Keep up the great work Bryan. I always look forward to your reviews. This one looks fun, but I think I'm going to pick up Vampire for now.
Excited to get into this! I was hyped for the asynchronous multiplayer, although these types of games tend to die out quicker then most
Congrats to 100K subs 🎉🎉
This looks fun! Looks like meet your maker in vr.
You rule mate 👍
Always grateful for your reviews 🙏
But considering how high the quality of your reviews are and how much work that must mean. Maybe primarily sticking to the most popular games and the ones you are the most exited about yourself, would give you time to enjoy your psvr2 even more.
( just a thought from a guy who has a wife that had stress.)
My name isn't Bryan Paul, but we all love you!
Another great review
Love the concept of this one.
I’m honestly shocked it only has 88 ratings on the ps store this game deserves so much more credit I was a doubter at first then took the plunge and baught it and honestly it swiftly became my favourite psvr 2 game and I own almost the FULL psvr2 library this truly is a hidden gem and can’t wait to keep playing it tomorrow after sleep and I’m looking forward to what they add next true masterpiece
This is an excellent review.
I just picked this up on sale and have loved it! For the price and the experience, it’s just awesome!
This sounds a bit like the base building part of Let It Die. And that's yet another game I'd love to see in VR.
Seeing Myles threaten you while you emoji describe was hilarious 😅
Barbara reminds me of Trickster VR which I would lurve to see upgraded for our PSVR2 😄
It's on sale boys!
Got it.
I'm more inclined towards Galaxy kart, especially as there's now wheel support. But l'm less likely to get it if it's not cross-play with other headsets ( don't fancy racing against AI ). Anyone heard anything?
Similar idea to Meet Your Maker which is also a great game. Seems fun.
Went into this game expecting nothing but played the whole 30 minute quest trial and loved it. Is there any advantage to getting the psvr2 version considering I can get the quest 3 version for 25% off?
we need superhot remastered
Well I’m sold on this one. Might be the next one I pick up…..though Arizona Sunshine is almost upon us and I’m sure I’ll be on that for a while.
Just bought and played today for first time. Pretty fun. Still can’t figure out how to design my base. Nut killing imps is fun. It was on sale so couldn’t pass up.
So it’s a VR mix of gorn and meet your maker?
Looks interesting enough for the price point, but would be nice if attacking other players could help with the grind
This is a wait for sale I think I like the concept.
Thanks, hon 💖.
I'll be grabbing this one. Looks fun, and as close to multiplayer as I'm ever likely to get! 😂
I really dislike damage numbers, health bars, and intrusive HUD elements in VR.
There is a "Hide HUD" setting in the options menu to disable those damage numbers and health bars for those who want a cleaner view.
Just out of curiosity, did Stride ever get the story mode?
Nope and in fact the story mode got turned into a brand new, separate game called Stride Fates (neither Stride games have been confirmed for PSVR2 yet)
@WithoutParole ah okay, I recently sold my psvr 1 so I'm saving to get a psvr 2 but I'm waiting for some big hitters to come out. Massive love from Sohth Africa ❤️
I think imma buy this one boys 😌😎
Bryan hope you get to talk about the surprise announcement of Koi Koi Love Blossoms coming to PSVR2 next week. Transition to ZZ VR maybe? Lol
Sounds like a headline for today's Gamescast! :D
Demeo Battles, Barbaria, and Ziggys adventure. A pretty good day for VR players 😁
I was just literally watching Myles playthrough of this game cand he just mentioned your review was coming and bam it popped up lol!! Too crazy!!
🫡
Bryan, I know that you're just minutes away from posting that Racket Fury review. ;) haha
Mere seconds, even! :D
must be milliseconds now. :)@@WithoutParole
9.5out of ten very fun
Sold! Where's my wallet...?
that's a good game :)
Clash of Clans in VR?
Why can I only watch this video in 480p but other videos in 1080p?
Not sure - it's displaying at 1080p over here!
@WithoutParole that's so strange, it's a little blurry on my screen. I thought it had to do with the social screen.
I hated GORN... Thought it looked basic af from the very first time i saw a trailer. After hearing great things about it from tons of people online i ended up buying it just to find it was exactly what i expected (maybe worse) and immediately regretted the purchase.... i havent heard of Barbaria until right now and a few seconds into the video i was ready to write it off as a lame GORN clone, but the more i watched the more fun it looked to play... Honestly might have to pick it up! The multiplayer seems like it would be a blast too.
is this good for a new psvr2 player? #gamecat
I would buy this game instantly if it was single player only. I only know one friend with a PSVR2 and hoping for random people is just a bit risky considering a small player base. And being in Europe is also a problem as I'd have to play late at night to meet US gamers.
It basically is single player. Asynchronous multiplayer means that it doesn't matter where you live or what time you're playing --- you never meet anyone in real time in Barbaria. Plus there's already a TON of Steam players with created realms so you're never gonna run out of content
@@WithoutParoleGreat! As soon as I get my synapse platinum (hopefully today) I'll buy it. Synapse is soooo good. Thanks again for the review that made me buy it.
where are the great singe player games that aren't pvp like or puzzles.
Lol there’s loads
Tons. The issue is.... There isn't much variety in genres on VR, so you can easily get bored of the triage
Well, no man sky. Both single player and multi player are fun. For strategy, demeo is probably the best on pvsr 2. Call of the mountain is impressive but lack bit of contents. Walk about mini golf is great. Fantastic mechanics. Gt 7 is awesome. We miss a RPG game. There is nothing atm on psvr2... Sad
VR2 has a large number of such cheap games, so I once said that Sony did mislead consumers when promoting VR2. When Sony promotes VR2, does it explain to players that VR2 is mainly for playing games of this level? The price of VR2 is very high. VR2 players really don’t mind the price of the game. VR2 players are actually willing to pay a relatively high price to buy the game. The focus is on the quality of the game. VR2 is not a toy for children, and it is not enough to make children dance and laugh. Sony really has the responsibility to explain the future development direction of VR2 to VR2 players.
There are some AAA games dropping. Re4, Arizona sunshine 2 (well maybe AA but it looks amazing) a couple others that I forgot lol
another meta 2 game that looks like a phone game
It is
Yet another regrettable purchase. The collision detection is terrible.
I've got over 10 hours in Barbaria and didn't experience any collision detection problems. What issues are you having?
