- In this ASMR video, I will be simulating a visit to the optometrist and the various tests I usually go through while being there along with a little cranial nerve test. One of the most relaxing things for me is always the phoropter! Hopefully this relaxes you and eases some anxiety or helps you sleep :)

Dr. Tom's exam is very realistic. I liked the blurring/clearing effect for the individual eye check and the pen light test. Thanks for the video!

That was great. Ok so you know I am the overly expressive one but I’ll try to be brief. YOU ARE SO FRIKKIN CREATIVE! How the camera blurred when you took off the patient’s glasses and how it blurred in and out from lens to lens during the exam...HOW YOU LOOK IN A NAVY BLUE DRESS SHIRT!!!!! Well because of your eye color and brunette hair color any blue looks dashing on you. (Who says dashing in 2019? How old am I? Blame it on my love of Turner Classic Movies)

2:44 got me. When people touch/brush the camera I've always liked it more when they do it to the sides, rather than the middle. When they do it in the middle it's almost like they're poking your eye out LUL

Tommy. This one has knocked me out to sleep for several weeks. I play it next to my bed and by the time you do the cranial, I'm asleep. I wake up in the morning and find the phone dark and when I open it, it is completed with your face on it! Whatta guy. Like a lot of your videos. RainRider ASMR cranium is a part of the skull, so cranial nerves are nerves that emerge directly from the brain, unlike spinal nerves (which emerge from the spine).

When you took of my glasses I got genuinely concerned about how bad my sight is... Then I remembered I have 20/20 vision and you just adjusted the focus on the camera but I got scared for a good long 2 minutes!!!! :/
True story...I used to have an eye doctor that got a new machine you actually had to step into to do that light test. As I was stepping into it I said "omg your putting me in carbonite and sending me to Jabba the Hutt". Yes I am a nerd 🤓
