The first season of TWD aired in 2010, and serious development for TLOU started after uncharted was released in 2009. Neil druckmann had already been developing the story years before this, and TWD was a lot less popular in 2010 than it is now. Tlou was Joel miller was already a developed character before people TWD was released, and ricks and Joel’s personality’s are so different during the first season of TWD, so it’s hard to believe that Joel could really be inspired by Rick. In fact, Neil cites the resident evil games as the main inspiration for the game.
Just because there are two different story’s in the same genre doesn’t make one a clone of the other Joel was also a character being conceptualized before TWD was released. TLOU started development about a year before TWD season 1 was released
Joel can definitely take rick on, he's stronger, more experienced and fought more dangerous opponents and infected, and is smarter in battle and more powerful weapons
That’s cause he’s the player character in a video game. look how not powerful he was in part 2 losing the protagonist role. Either way Rick is a character on a tv and as a result actually has human durability. it would make far more sense to compare the Joel from the show isn’t super human and a face to face fight would be either or as Rick was a cop and has plenty of experience fighting the living being trained. Joel is self taught and probably not good at close quarters combat. Rick was able to take on Shane when they fought in season 2A with the Randell thing. And Shane is visibly stronger. Now if we’re going off the situation in the video than yeah Joel should probably comply as no amount of experience will make a .357 magnum round to the head any less deadly.
Even if they are stronger Rick has the ability to adapt to his situation making him push his limits even further and who knows maybe tlou rick will be even stronger than twd rick.
Don’t underestimate the walkers in TWD. Might be slow but you can guarantee a herd of them most of the time. and Up close speed doesn’t matter especially since they bite pretty much as fast as the infected. Rick could adapt too probably and be even better if he was in tlou
If Joel was surrounded by a giant herd of walkers he probably wouldn’t have a good time of it. The walkers individually aren’t that dangerous. It’s when they group in massive numbers they are. No amount of experience can make you able to fight your way out of getting overwhelmed in a lot of walking dead situations. Now the infected in last of us don’t seem to travel in as grand of numbers and can be shot in any of the vitals as they aren’t dead just fungus controlled so you don’t need to be a crack shot. However they can run in the early stages but they do go blind so and thus easily distracted by noise. They do get more durable though. The infected in both apocalypses just have different challenges you’ll face.
Meh, it really is hard. Joel has been through more. And also faced a more dangerous foe then Rick. The Infected in TLOU are more dangerous then walkers. Still I think Rick could beat him. Experience isn’t necessarily everything.
Rick was putting up a good fight against the Governor, who was larger and stronger man than Joel and clinically insane, governor can kill a herd of 20 walkers on his own as seen in season 3 when Andrea locked him in that one factory. Governor would kill Joel in a straight up fight. By the time he is in season 5 and 6, Rick can split walkers with his machete like it was just business. Season 6 Rick would destroy Joel
Can't forget the CORAL! Guy
This looks like what ai generated videos will be in 5 years
Possibly
what they look like now😭
None of yall don't think for a second joel was created or atleast somewhat inspired by Rick? In 2013 walking dead and zombies were the biggest fad
No cuz joel is nothing like Rick
The last of us idea existed before twd asshole
That’s true because Rick is that fucking guy, I love Joel but he could never
these two men have different personalities different story’s and different zombie world. 😂 I say Joel in his own bad@$$ lane.

What if joel and rick had broken wrist when they hold guns😂
I actually really like this setup, maybe for a Death Battle or something
If polished, this video actually looks like it could be a DB animation lol
@@VenturesBoyToyDB ? U mean DBD? Aka D”cked by daylight
Joel is a Rick clone, so I say Rick is better as he existed first
Last of us overrated
@badreedine Djellali it had potential but ultimately was a let down for me
No, Joel is better....Joel stomps Rick.........
😂 twd fans religiously bringing up saying that Rick came first 🤣🤣

Season 5 Murder Rick would stomp Joel lol, even easier against weak old pacifist Joel from TLOU2
Not anymore
ES EXELENTE EL MODEL QUE HICIERON DE RICK!!! DIOSS!! LO QUIERO COMO PERSONAJE DE THE LAST OF US EN MOD
Rick wouldn't be able to survive in tlou since the zombies in his show is very slow but rick is still almost gets killed by it
Nope he is fast
Him and Daryl are the only ones who can survive

Yo Joel and Rick crimes team up would go hard😮

Let me see if you are high or on drugs...
Awesome..
Joel solos, ik that rick is brutal but no matter JM is physically strong, military experienced, and has way dangerous infected enemies.
Rick was a sherrif and one of the comic creators said he was a captain.
