Argonians have the advantage of Underwater breathing... now think about that; They can build whole cities, under water. Safe castle ? under water... Need to light the place up ? Magical lamps, because candles don't work, under water. Blackmarsh : The Argonian Adventures (Elder Scrolls VII) would be a whole new game, focused on the underwater cities and adventures of Argonians in Blackmarsh and surrounding areas. The Land walkers are only the very edges of Argonian civilization, the rest are under the waters, near the hist trees, of course, but they are safe from other creatures, even safe from most dragons and undead, under the water.

With the larger tail, we need a mod that is a 3 left button click TAIL SWEEP attack... a very natural Argonian power attack of slash, slash, tail, knocking down the opponent. Being a large lizard person, with a powerful tail, knocking people over with it would be a very natural way for Argonians to fight and win ! Some mods add the claw attack from feet and hands, but a bite attack could work too - having huge jaws and teeth, unarmed combat for Argonians and Khajiit should give them a distinctive advantage.
As an avid argonian player this was a joy, i unfortunately play consol so cant get much modding and such but im glad they exist! Skyrim argonians have a lot of flaws but i dont think i need to write all that😅
My very first character wayyyy back in 2014 was an Argonian named "Typhoon". Heavy armor, sword and shield, occasionally a bow. No magic, no sneak. Just rush in and do battle. 12 year old me loved the "knight in shining armor", hero of the people, warrior with a good moral compass kind of characters. On top of that I've always loved reptiles, so of course when 12 year old me was making my character and i saw there was a race of "lizard men" I just HAD to be one lmao
I havent played on that character in YEARS but last time i did, he was level 41, he and Lyida had matching Daedric armor, swords and shields, maxed HA, maxed 1H, decent archery and high speech. I actually remade him recently on the Switch to celebrate my upcoming 10 year anniversary with this game. February 2014 was the first time i ever played this beauty of a game. Almost 10 years later im still sinking HOURS on the switch and PC versions. Good times man. If you read this all the way through, thank you for reminiscing with me. Cheers Dovahkiin!
Not sure if anyone told you but at 4:18 your water is crystal clear, to fix it...Or well, if you want it to be a bit blurry like it should be, your choice, you need to enable Depth of Field. Don't worry about the bad DoF, it can be disabled even inside the game, in Display, just set it to the very left. I don't think it will conflict with ENB either as long as your DoF is disabled using the bar.
Damn this video is so high quality. I don't even know how long a video like this would take to make. Between downloading the mods and gathering footage to editing them all together, writing a script and showcasing them by the type of mod instead of just a jumble of mods. Very well done!!!
I deeply appreciate you really seeing the effort behind this!! I do spend a lot of time to make each of my videos, and try to craft them with passion too :D Thank you so much for that, and thank you for taking the time to watch.
That's a great modlist I absolutely will be getting a few of these. I always choose Argonians for my Warrior Playthroughs and I will definitely be getting some of these. I do enjoy being an Argonian from time to time as I've always chosen more wilder races for roles. Most people choose Nords, Imperials or Orcs for Warriors but I had fun with Redguards and Argonians. The Stamina and Health regeneration abilities of both really helped out with survivability. On an off note I also play Bretons for mages instead of High Elves or Dark Elves. They just fit better for me. Stealth is incorporated heavily for me so Stealth can be any race I choose as it's going to be utilised a fair bit in any playthrough I do. But i digress. Argonians make excellent Heavy Armour Warriors and decking them out in Dragon Bones just feels metal despite the fact Stahlrim is just as good and Daedric is better in terms of Heavy Armour Argonians I found are also quite versatile as they have a starting skill bonus of 5 in light armour and many thief skills and a few magic skills. They make great assassins to combine with stealth and they make great DPS Warriors when things get out of control and they need to take down multiple people very quickly as Hitskin allows them to stay in the fight longer than most without having to pause for potions. Plus the male Argonian voice just sounds amazing
Love to hear the perspective of you rare people who like to choose the more "wild" or maybe undervalued races! Keep doing you and thanks! Hope the mods will serve you well :)
@@BardsCollegeGraduate Skyrim has always been that perfect chilling out game after a long day at work when I've woken up at 4am, I'm tired and just looking for something peaceful to do for long hours. So yeah while going with the racial benefits for others like High Elf matters for that bonus 50 magicka and a starting buff to all Magic schools, it's also important to remember the latter will be gone if you Legendary skills meaning you now have to fight your way back up through even tougher enemies without your bonus start now. It's important to remember you can build whatever you want however you want in Skyrim and so Races don't matter that much for the sweaty RPG Grinders. So long as you can have fun with it, the game has done it's job well enough. As a writer myself in my free time I've always enjoyed the story aspects of these games more than anything else and so I think it's fun to give yourself a bit of a casual challenge and build something up "The wrong way" by choosing a race that won't fit your class goal at all but because it's Skyrim it works anyway. Winds my little cousins up to no end to see an Argonian Warrior instead of an Orc or a Breton Instead of a High Elf. In the end when all is said and done I'll have saved the world again from countless threats, saved many lives, taken many more and it always ends up being a "How good of a Wife/Husband and Parent are you?" Simulator in my home in Falkreath, just living away my days with no more threats to kill off, opening my own shop like an Alchemist or a Blacksmith and travelling to the Cities and towns to trade my goods and buy more ingredients. It's quite fun!!
Well I'm so happy you think that! Thank you! Makes me remember playing Skyrim on launch with my old-as-time laptop, and safe to say, it did not go well. 😆
"Grow your tail 5 inches, make other lizards jel-ous! 10/10" Thanks for this video. I think I downloaded at least half of these mods for a coming Argonian mercenary completionist-ish playthrough.
There a mod for male Argonians, called 'Brutish Male Argonian', it gives the PC more of a Komodo Dragon/Raptor with an underbite look. Works with texture mods, body mesh mods(like True Digigrade legs) and the fins, horns, and feather cosmetic mods mentioned in the video.
Thank you for this video! I was looking for mods for Argonians because I noticed on Elder Scrolls online, I spent a lot of time on my Argonian and thought he looked absolutely perfect, but I found I could never recreate him in Skyrim, especially with how limited the scaling for the non humans were.
Some mods I use for my argonain playthroughs: Followers Lucifer and Khash are two other custom argonain followers who all interact together with xelaz. Lucifer can be found in Dragonsreach and the cute little argonian daughter Khash is in Riverwood. There are mods which overhaul the two vanilla husbands into followers which can scale up to level 200, plus bugfixes and lore based skill perk assignments. There is also one to keep the beloved shadowscale Veezara after finishing the dark brotherhood. Overhaul: If you're not a fan of massive feather plumes, Complete NPC Overhaul - Argonians is an alternative that tries to use vanilla assets with high poly head and some smaller feathers or fins (optional), while still making everyone more diverse than just green/brown. Some examples - Madesi stays green with purple details, Shavee becomes pink, our shadowscale becomes a literal black shadowscale, and the pirate twins become the same colour. That npc pack makes me wish you could marry wujeeta - a beautiful blue and orange.
Just got back into Skyrim modding and this video was exactly what I wanted. Most of these mods don't appear to have massive amounts of downloads, so thanks for highlighting--wouldn't have found most of these on my own! First Argonian playthrough and it'll be great
So many cute mods! That last one was hilarious and made me audibly laugh. Got a feeling I'll be seeing that one for my next cart intro scene. Thanks for making the video!
I agree, these were especially cute xD 💚 Be careful with that mod, had super duper bad compatibility with other NPC replacers and the game basically froze and crashed when I saw Adrienne Avenicci looking normal on the front, but had a giant tail on the backside, then boom 😳
Oh my gosh! :D Tell him he did super good, I absolutely love that one. Spent a good time spinning around just looking at the sweet tail physics, hahaha.
From the very first release of Original Skyrim, my main Character is Argonian role played as an Argonian, with little to no interest in the problems of the other races. He's done quite well for himself, level 100, never had to fight the dragons because he never fetched the Dragonstone tablet for rude wizards like Farengar Secret-Fire, saving all of Skyrim from the dragon crisis from the start. Discovering the Original SoulForge changed his adventures forever. Sadly the SoulForge mod is no longer publicly available, but it's files can be manually installed and work perfectly, collecting the soul energy of foes and crafting many useful items.
Thanks for the video! Oh no i literally just started playing skyrim for the first time and i am already in a deep mod rabbit hole to save for after a few normal games
Everybody shits on argonians, but they’re my favorite race. Here are my 13 Reasons Why argonians are my favorite race. 1. Interesting lore 2. Are lizard people 3. Weren’t pussies during the Oblivion Crisis 4. Oblivion invades Black Marsh? No, Black Marsh invades Oblivion 5. They make excellent farm tools 6. Argonian Nerevarine is best for a Morrowind playthrough 7. They speak for the trees, and the trees speak Vietnamese (Black Marsh is Vietnam confirmed) 8. Lifts-her-Tail, Lusty Argonian Maid (😏) 9: Can breathe underwater 10. Are xenophobes 11. Caused the Black Plague 12. Worship nature and the literal darkness 13. Did I forget to mention they’re lizard people?
Amazing video, I was looking for argonian mods for my new build its (argonian poisoner inflict any individual with dangerous poisons and disease magic in a variety of ways, And he can turn into a werewolf that can shred opponents) its heavly modded build.
My only problem(its on my part) is that Sony severely limits the mods on PlayStation, and my "PC"(its a laptop) would melt playing solitaire lol But, I would love to see the next base Elder Scrolls game to show more love for the Argonians..! And yes I go with the Argonian race for my playthroughs! Spooks Saxhleel Reel-Ka!
Bethesda probably had a lot of ideas for the Argonians. they scrapped some of them because otherwise they would've been the most overpowered race. Though here are some things i would do for Argonians in the next TES game: -Variety: I would have more variety in terms of customization and sub races. It would require some retconning and editing of the lore. Though Bethesda doesn't have a problem with doing so. They can include Akiviri as another race as well and this could cause TES to mirror DnD somewhat but in a similar way that DnD mirrors TLOTR and the way TES ALREADY mirrors DnD. There could be the normal Argonians, big and strong Argonians that resemble the Dragonborn in DnD, small and nimble Argonians that resemble Kobolds in DnD, primitive but nature-oriented Argonians that PARTIALLY resemble Troglodytes. They can be sort of in the middle between a Kobold-like Argonian and a normal Argonian, winged Akiviri that resemble Urds from DnD, and assassin-rogue-like snake-like Akiviri that are a slight rip-off of the Yuan-ti variants in DnD. In doing this, you can give different reptilian races more balances combat, movement, resistance, and even magical abilities depending on the subrace. though if it where up to me, I'd make (all the reptilian races aside from the Akiviri races) have almost no bonuses in magic as we already have elves and Bretons. And it'd be interesting because this could make Argonians almost like a pure anti-magic race. It could even be a WEAKNESS to them in some ways. Especially with cold and heat magic. -Stats, Buffs, and Debuffs: ----Argonians should have their water-breathing abilities removed. They are reptiles and are likely part of the archosaur lineage (relating to crocodilians, dinosaurs, and birds). ----They should have some debuffs to cold and hot environments since, although likely warm-blooded reptiles like dinosaurs and birds, they still have colder blood than the average placental mammal like human beings. So they should be weakened by cold and heat magic and may need to drink more water. ----But being reptiles should make them be able to hold their breath for longer periods, not have to eat nearly as much, see better in the dark like Khajiits, eat raw meat and get bitten by certain animals and not risk getting most viruses (like rabies) and some parasites, have partial immunity to poisons and venoms (maybe even potions), and being Argonians should make them feel and benefit from the effects of hist sap more so than other races. Even Akiviri races. ----Depending on the variant of Argonian, their mind and dialogue options may be overly logical and less emotional, though this could cause some issues with quest mods and other stuff within the game as well. ----When it comes to HP and Stamina, they should have an increase depending on their environment. And they should have a decrease in most Magika types. ---They should be incredibly difficult to kill in terms of their natural body armor, unless they are stabbed in the eye on their front torso. Loosing their tail could cause them to die from infection and should severely decrease their regen capabilities and the effects potions have on them. All this combined with some other tweaks could make Argonians the most interesting, yet fun race. So I understand that doing this would make all the other races in TES seem boring in comparison. We already have people almost never playing as Altmer, Redgaurds, and Imperials because of how boring, unlikeable, and uninteresting they are compared to Khajiits, Nords, Dunmer, and even Orcs and Bretons.
Also of note, there is a tail mod for both argonians and khajiit that gives them HDT physics so they feel less stiff and have more inertia. EDIT: Never mind, I jumped the gun 😅
Regarding DBVO. Been using it for what, around 2 months to thoroughly see what it has to offer. While it is no doubt one of the most interesting mods out there, it definitely has flaws and flaws they are. Depending on your mod setup, if your voice pack supports only base game plus some basic mods (more to say, lotd, etc), you can end up having a big chuck of your game (mods) unvoiced, which is, eh, undesirable Funnily enough, not every line of dialogue is actually voiced and thus it can lead to some "weird" moments, where you expect your character to speak, but he/she doesn't Longer dialogue prompts actually have issues with voice overlapping Patching DBVO is actually quite expensive, as ElevenLabs actually charge a lot Other than that, it's an extremely nice mod to have if you choose a voice pack that has a lot of patches (Bella or Geralt for example). Good content as always.
A-ha! Fair critique, and good to keep in mind. I really need to try out the other voice packs you mentioned, this mod really impressed me. Thanks for the input!
Since DBVO 1.0, it has lip sync, so if you end up using it for yourself, I can recommend combining it with Alternate Conversation Camera for the best result, though I believe you're using it already, no?

Yay I'm so glad you like them! 💚🙏
Time for some poison assassin playthrough
Perfection🔪🦎
Interesting list of mods, there is always something new to like, that's crazy 👍
There's somehow always something new! Skyrim Nexus is endless 😂
This woman's voice could lull me to sleep. That is meant as a compliment.
Thank you! I don't mind if someone does :) I try to keep vids relaxing :D
Love most of the Mods you showed us. But Argonians shouldn't ever have hair! LOL
Haha, weeellll, maybe xDD
10+ years of playing this incredible game, I’ve never once played as an Argonian. Maybe I will 🤷♀️
It's a great time to try out these scaly boys 🤩
Everybody shits on argonians, but they’re my favorite race.
Here are my 13 Reasons Why argonians are my favorite race.
1. Interesting lore
2. Are lizard people
3. Weren’t pussies during the Oblivion Crisis
4. Oblivion invades Black Marsh? No, Black Marsh invades Oblivion
5. They make excellent farm tools
6. Argonian Nerevarine is best for a Morrowind playthrough
7. They speak for the trees, and the trees speak Vietnamese (Black Marsh is Vietnam confirmed)
8. Lifts-her-Tail, Lusty Argonian Maid (😏)
9: Can breathe underwater
10. Are xenophobes
11. Caused the Black Plague
12. Worship nature and the literal darkness
13. Did I forget to mention they’re lizard people?
Hehe you've gathered quite a list, argonians are awesome
This is perfect! I was about to start an Argonian playthrough and was wondering what mods should I install 😂.
Hey, talk about a perfect timing! 👌 Have fun!
Beast Races Forever!
respecc
Damn right!
You have a lovely voice and great content. Please keep up the good work😁
Thank you Ryan! I'll try to do just that! 🙏💚
Amazing video, I was looking for argonian mods for my new build its (argonian poisoner inflict any individual with dangerous poisons and disease magic in a variety of ways, And he can turn into a werewolf that can shred opponents) its heavly modded build.
Yoo that sounds awesome, have fun!! :D And thank you!
Excellent. I have to try an Argonian on a new playthrough soon.
You should! (and I should too, although I kind of dislike female Argonian's voice 😭)
You always make lovely videos keep on being yourself and keep on grinding 👋💯
tyyyyy for the everlasting support 🙏🙏
Very nice video, good job to you and the creators
Thank you! The mods were awesome, so happy to see everyone's creativeness 💚
My only problem(its on my part) is that Sony severely limits the mods on PlayStation, and my "PC"(its a laptop) would melt playing solitaire lol
But, I would love to see the next base Elder Scrolls game to show more love for the Argonians..!
And yes I go with the Argonian race for my playthroughs! Spooks Saxhleel Reel-Ka!
Ah, that sucks! But I agree, next title, I hope we're gonna have a lot of love for Argonians
This is wonderful, thank you!
Perfct, thank you!!
Love your videos!
Maybe do Civil War next?
Thanks so much! I just might, thanks for the suggestion 👌
FEET - I had a lot of problems getting those to work correctly so I just gave up and went back to normal boots/feet.
Just when I was wondering about how to spruce up Argonians besides Beast HHBB
Ohh yeessss 👌 get lizardin'!
You know what would make the perfect voice for a male argonian? Garrus Vakarian. Gotta calibrate those trebuchets
Never played Mass Effect but I watched this ruclips.net/video/EcRrKMrGY2M/видео.html and I agree 🤠
Lovely relaxing video :)
Thank you! 🙏💚
Bethesda probably had a lot of ideas for the Argonians. they scrapped some of them because otherwise they would've been the most overpowered race. Though here are some things i would do for Argonians in the next TES game:
-Variety:
I would have more variety in terms of customization and sub races.
-Stats, Buffs, and Debuffs:
----Argonians should have their water-breathing abilities removed.
Damn you came in with the ideas for Argonians! Maybe we'll get more interesting races in the next title.
Great video!
Thanks so much!
Argonians are my favorite so this video is welcome
Perfect! Hope you'll find something new in there 🙏
we need a mod to remove all of them
also, another banger
waittttttttt--- 😭😭 (& ty!!!)
*POV:* least xenophobic Morrowind-enjoyer
@@nex4613 haha
I have this one Ram-ku! depths of skyrim have I! many wrecks!
They're so good!
this channel reminds me of lady scrolls
Scaley bois.
Also of note, there is a tail mod for both argonians and khajiit that gives them HDT physics so they feel less stiff and have more inertia.
EDIT: Never mind, I jumped the gun 😅
Hehehe :) yes these tails are great, so fun to whip 'em around!
Argonians with hair is cursed
hahah
So there is a spell pack that is made of spell for underwater combat and stealth
0:53 what is this little baby dragon o: (i hope the timestamp works lol, i haven't done it before)
I think it's from this poser pack: pand0rable.tumblr.com/post/176478244338/%E8%B7%9D%E9%9B%A2%E3%81%8C%E5%8E%B3%E3%81%97%E3%81%84%E0%B9%91-%D0%B4

Great video! What spell/mod are you using with the Bloodskal Blade and lightning combo in the beginning?
Thank you! :D It's just a poser mod, ho1drgpose :)
what's the armor mod you used in the thumbnail? the one with the white fur, it looks amazing!
I want an Dragon Argonian with wings.
That sounds badassss :D
Regarding DBVO. Been using it for what, around 2 months to thoroughly see what it has to offer. While it is no doubt one of the most interesting mods out there, it definitely has flaws and flaws they are.
Depending on your mod setup, if your voice pack supports only base game plus some basic mods (more to say, lotd, etc), you can end up having a big chuck of your game (mods) unvoiced, which is, eh, undesirable
Funnily enough, not every line of dialogue is actually voiced and thus it can lead to some "weird" moments, where you expect your character to speak, but he/she doesn't
Longer dialogue prompts actually have issues with voice overlapping
Patching DBVO is actually quite expensive, as ElevenLabs actually charge a lot
Other than that, it's an extremely nice mod to have if you choose a voice pack that has a lot of patches (Bella or Geralt for example).
Yay. Roleplaying Zuckerberg!
😁😁
awesome themed list
Happy to hear! 🦎
Omg this video is for me!!
Perfect!
I loved 🖤
🤠🙏
Argonians are so cool... I have stuck with my vanilla Nord for far too long, I MUST make a playthrough with an argonian character. And then a Khajiit
Yuppp honestly they're so cool, but super underrated! And I agree, Imperials are a bit underwhelming to me too xD
@@BardsCollegeGraduate SENPAI NOTICED ME!!😱
Is the Brutish Argonian Male mod finally available to SE?
