I've heard these GM 3.8 litre V6 engines were legendary for their reliability. This is the first time I've heard of a FWD application being converted to run in a RWD car. Fascinating!
I am currently working on the same project myself, curious to hear why you think the heads from the front wheel drive engine won't work on the rear wheel drive engine as I've always thought they were swappable? Does it have to do with hardware mounted on the heads? In either case, awesome video and cool project.
@@emptywinds3965 oh did I say the heads wouldn’t work? I did end up using the heads from the fwd car for my camaro since they had relatively new valve seals on them. The heads are the same :)
