It took you to finally make a decent 22-ammo comparison video! Camera on the targets, 2 types of ammo at a time & no wasted time blabberin away about nothing. Congrats. Subscribed!

@armedfarm3429. Thanks (I think) lol. Now for real, I appreciate your viewing and commenting. My videos can be a little lame but remember I'm really old and for the most part just have fun shooting. And the weather here in NE OH has been amazing for shooting. My shooting is a bit less that amazing, but it is always fun. Thanks again for viewing and subbing. Take care.

@@bobcatforever3485 I meant every word, I enjoy yer videos. They are low pressure, no unnecessary preaching, no killing time showing how you walk to the target. You know how to make a video. When I'm videoing, I like to shoot by myself, so I don't have to worry about where someone else is or might be standing that I might not see. It's also nice to be able to shoot just for fun with no pressure to be doing great. If I ever had great days, they have already passed! Thanks again I appreciate you and take care.

@@bobcatforever3485 that's how it should be, albeit, on a calm day, with same rifle throughout. Fine job overall. Very rare, shooters use every ammo they can find. Need to say, no two weapons are the same. Can't arbitrarily say what works well for one machine will work the same in another. Should do that for every rifle you have. Again, fine job. Thanks.

Same here. Out of the big 4 major U.S. brands (Remington, CCI, Federal and Winchester), Winchester usually gives the worst accuracy from any type of firearms and the least reliability in semi-auto firearms. This is from my over 30 years of shooting 22 LRs in 20 different type of firearms.

Not a fan of the stock irons (poor sight radius), and couldn’t hold much of a group with them. I really wanted to keep iron sights on the rifle (so no magnified optics), and discovered the Tech Sights, which are M1/M16 style peep sights. Total game changer, and I’m able to put rounds in a single jagged hole at 25yds now. Love the gun and the sights

Good video! I've been shooting the CCI Blazer with my 10/22 at 100 yards with aperture sights for a while now, results of this test were exactly what I expected. Same with the Stingers, they ended up being less accurate like in the video. I first started shooting Remington and then Winchester bulk box jacketed hollow points but I got sick of finding bullets loose or cocked in their shells and they were also giving me a failure to feed at least once per mag with some bullets getting the jacket marred or scraped off by the mag feed lip. I got a whole bunch of Blazer for almost the exact same price as the bulk garbage and couldn't be happier.

@@robertharing7031 Thanks Again Robert. If you like seeing normal folks doing some shooting, I'm probably about as normal as it gets. I also have a good time putting the videos together and like to have fun with it. I was never in the service, but have a great respect for those who have served to keep this country free. Thanks again and have a great day.

Leonard. Thanks again. I have not had a lot of duds just ever now and then. But I don't do a whole lot of shooting. But it is a pain in the butt when it happens. Take care.

Here are some notes for you: #1 I have the exact same hat as you do...heheh, #2 You have wind drift on your shots, #3 Hyper velocity ammo seems to be inherently inaccurate and beats the heck out of your semi-auto receiver(not good) and lastly, in order to obtain a reasonable group per ammo type/brand, you need to shoot more than just 5 shots...season the barrel to that specific ammo. Still, I enjoyed your presentation. When I had my 1022, circa 1986, CCI Blazer and Aguila( ah-gee-la) Standard velocity were the most accurate in my specific rifle. A buddy of mine had a 1022 and it preferred Winchester Wildcat...go figure...lol

Tony. Thanks for viewing and for your comments. Gotta love the hat, you made a good choice. For sure the wind is often a problem when I go shooting, it tends to follow me wherever I go. Just two days ago I repeated this same shooting with a few different ammos and the hot ammos just don't group for me. Trying to do groups I prefer CCI Std Vel or Eley Club but was surprised by a couple of the other ammos. It will take me some time to edit all the video that I shot, but eventually a you tube video may show up. Thanks much again and take care.

You remind me I need to get out and do some plinking. I have 3 remington 513T rifles. I use only shoot one and can get 5 rounds in a quarter size group at 100 yards....on a no wind day. Thank you

Larry, Thanks for viewing and commenting. If I was shooting as good as you are with the Remington 513T, I would probably go shooting more often myself. I'm working on a video right now with shooting a couple bolt guns and lever gun (and that is at 50 yards), I might fit some of them in a Silver Dollar at best. Thanks again and you need to get out there and crank up those Remington's. Take care.

Great job! I've shot most of the ammo's you used with similar results. I was pleasantly surprised by that cheap Blazer stuff. I bought 6,450 rounds of it during 2020 @ $3.98/100 & found it to run well in all my 22's. This old farm boy has 6 handguns & 4 rifles in .22 & enjoy just plinking around the barnyard with them. Keep up the good work.

Ronald, Thank You! I appreciate your viewing and commenting. You did good with your ammo, that should last for some time. I also had bought .22's over the past years and am OK for now. I only have a couple .22 handguns, but several rifles which are just plane fun to shoot. I was raised on a small dairy farm back in the day (actually where I shoot now). Back in the mid 50's I got my first .22 rifle an old Marlin bolt action. Plinking is fun, keep up the good work and take care.

Correct, nothing beats a day at the range plinking. I really enjoyed your video Sir and as was mentioned, you did put in a lot of effort. You do need to adjust your windage to the left a little I believe. However you shoot very well. Thanks for sharing.
