I have a friend with a budget Volo deck and it's a blast: the ability to double any creature is very potent indeed

Welcome to the format! The number of strategies available is what has me hooked.
For instance, I have a pretty cutthroat Edgar Markov deck, but I also run a Skeleton Ship deck with a bunch of janky skeletons and pirates that doesn't really have a wincon lmao

Kemba Kha Regent is fairly well known and Hinata is outright infamous. I'd like to suggest a couple lesser known commanders.
Raksha Golden Cub- This one is fairly mana intensive but has a simple but potent effect.
If Raksha Golden Cub is equipped ALL your cats get +2/+2 and double strike.
Celestial Kirin- This one requires some very careful piloting but comes with a very potent effect. Whenever you cast a spirit or arcane spell destroy ALL permanents with that spell's converted mana cost.

While I’ve never directly built around Kemba, she was a wincon in a deck for a friend, which was a mono-White Equipment build (focused on the Mirrodin Living Weapons, because I’m incapable of doing an optimal brew on the start), along with Balan. Evidently this friend has since tuned the deck, and to make it more fun, rolls a die at the start of each game to decide which of 3 options (Balan, Kemba, or Ardenn/Prava) goes in the CZ.
No shame on the Breena, Strixhaven had novels on most cards. I love that set, but I don’t run a ton of cards from it unless they can be summarized easily and swiftly.
