I’m currently using Voltric 80 and I shifted to Yonex Astrox 88S Pro because of soreness on my shoulders. Now I’m looking at Yonex Arsaber 7 Pro and Yonex Astrox 77 Pro. Astox series are head heavy ones and Arcsaber are even balance ones. I’m used to head heavy ones but I’m looking at these rackets because both are Medium Flex, one of the things I’m looking at, Medium Flex. Saw reviews of these rackets and I love your reviews better. Some say that the Astrox 77 Pro are stiffer, none of them says it’s a medium flex except your review. Although all reviews said both rackets are easy to use or maneuver. I’m torn between the 2 but leaning towards the Arcsaber 7 Pro but I’m afraid that it’s even balance and the Power might be light and might hurt my shoulder because I might do a full swing. But if I choose the Astrox 77 Pro my shoulder can’t carry on with the head heaviness of the racket and still can hurt my shoulder as I might do full swings with it as well. And I have the Astrox 88S Pro and they are almost the same but the 88S Pro has a much stiffer shaft and slightly lighter head. And one review I saw said that he opted to go with the 77 Pro than the Arcsaber 7 Pro as it is the same Medium Flex racket but 77 Pro has more power and also said that both rackets are easy to play with. All I want is an easy to play racket for now. As to aid my shoulders first. And of course I have to choose 1 because of the budget. Any insights would be good. Thank you.
I switch from 100zz to 77pro just recently, and i am pleased with it. 100zz is too demanding, when you have an off day or you misshit, it is unforgivable. While 77pro is more friendly user, the margin of error is bigger too which is good

I love your effort and analysis through each of your videos. Thank you very much. Keep up the great work. Also, is it possible to review the 77 play?
It is a more balanced racket for singles, which is not a shocker. There are single players using the even more balanced Arcsabers, which might a wise choice.
I'm currently using Arcsaber 7 pro and I'm loving it since it's very forgiving. How does the astrox 77 pro and ax77 compare with the Arcsaber 7 pro in terms of user friendliness?
How does it compare to Arcsaber 7? I already owned a Arcsaber 7 Play, and I am looking for another one which is more head heavy when I feel like attacking more. I am considering Astrox 88D, 88S, and this (all at play level). Which one do you think is a better buy?
arcsaber 7 pro is an even balanced racket but i would describe it to be robotic. it can adapt to nearly all playstyles. it's a safe choice to figure out your playstyle!
Thanks for the review CK Yew! I am wondering if there is a location code you prefer over others (i.e. JP/SP/UK/US/CD)? Or what was your experience with the same racquet from different location codes? I use a AX77 shine red US-code and not too long ago I tried my friend's AX77 shine red (SP code); both were 4UG5 so should be same specs. The racquets were noticeably different in terms of swing weight and feel. My friend tried mine and also noticed this as well. This was very surprising to me so now I'm thinking is there (or should there?) be a difference between racquets from differing locations.
I feel like I can be more explosive with the 77 pro rather than 88d pro due to its lighter nature, but I find myself completely missing the shuttle a couple times 😅
It's just a timing issue due to the slight difference in head weight of those 2 rackets, you'll be accustomed to the 77 Pro after playing with it for a while.
I have all Pro versions of the Astrox family except the 77Pro. I like them all power wise - currently my go-to is the 100ZZ - but find the front play a little slow. I’d be happy to sacrifice a bit of power to gain some speed at the front and comfortable net play. Sounds like the 77Pro will accommodate? I went to buy it but it was sold out.
@@CKYew so weird but it actually does not. I don’t know why either. It is my least favourite of the Astrox family. The perceived imbalance of head to shaft maybe? I prefer the S pro, actually. The 99 and 100 seem more evenly balanced, albeit stiff, but I play better with them. Weird, hey?

Do you know what is the difference between the Astorx 77 and 77 play? It seems like people like the 77 but rarely talk about the play version. Are they the same?
I am currently using 100 zz , should I switch to 77 pro . Would this be a good decision ? I prefer light weight rackets and like to play in an attacking way .
I've own both of them. If you are more of a attacking players then definitely the 77 pro. It has more attack power but doesn't dragging you while defending. In terms of 11pro it is amazing if you like to change shuttle direction often, it is very precise yet give you just enough power for smashing.
Thanks for the review.... The racket has been a eye catcher in my local Yonex authorised shop. Could you please review the tour n play versions of the new 77 ? There is a good 3000 INR diff between the pro n tour versions.. wanted to check how close the tour is wrt his big bro the pro one..

@@CKYew Thanks for the reply i felt it today in the shop. It is good. I'm not a strong Smasher but would love to smash. So i thought 88d tour vs 77 tour. Wanna ask CK, currently using an Arc11 Pro, wanting to switch brands like Li Ning or Victor, which racquet from these brand are similar to the Arc11 Pro in your opinion?
Hi @CKyew kinda stuck between 77Pro, Nanoflare 800pro (waiting for your review hehe), and 88s Pro. I'm coming from even balance racket and medium stiff 3u, but since I'm playing more doubles now I want to transition to something faster racket like 4u one, and want to try a bit headlight to even balance.
How’s the difference between the pro and tour model? I heard the tour is more head heavy and stiffer. But I can’t find data to it. Have your tried both?
i find it different. Tried the racket couple of tmes, i find it more to singles racket, it is slower when pushing under pressure in doubles. 88D Pro is faster for doubles. this 77 Pro have a more punch than 77, so the 77 Pro smashes n attacks are better.
Astrox 88D pro , ashway phantom x shadow, 3D caliber. Astrox 7DG, lining windlite700 , astrox 6 among these which one is good for power smash n controlled play?
may I ask how to you remove the original factory grip? I removed it but there is still a lot sticking onto the wood🙁. Will leave a like for every video from u as it's so interesting and good ✨✨✨
What is the difference between 77 pro & arcsaber 11 pro? I already tried arcsaber 11 pro & I'm quite like it. But dont have the opportunity to try astrox 77 pro yet.
i have both, in my opinion both is very balanced and all rounded racket, 77 pro is head heavier and less stiffer shaft, offering more attacking but losing control compared to 11 pro
@@andreaskihlgren i wouldn't say which i prefer more, i like both equally. 77 for more backcourt, straightforward shots, 11 for more front court, controlled/trick shots.
Too heavy. Use 4u better maneuvering for mix and doubles. Play style would be front and mid court, steep attacks, half smash, and placement drive is a wise choice for this astrox 77pro.
currently, I have transitioned from 88s Pro to 77 pro.. the racket is good but lacking in soft touch.. 88s Pro is very good for soft touch but too tad and demanding for me even after a year using it.. for 77 pro, maybe pairing it with exbolt 63 or aerobite would help me to get that soft touch back in action 😅
Hey CK, I’m currently using Nanoflare 700 with Aerobite but feeling lack of power when I do smash or clear, I mostly play double, do you think 77 Pro would help me better than 7 Pro with that? I’m thinking to get one more “pro” racket but I’m only an intermediate level player, the description on Yonex website stated that they are both medium racket and not a stiff one, but I don’t know if it’s gonna be too difficult for me to handle a head heavy racket and become very slow in double, and do you think changing string could help me? What string do best with 77 pro and 7 pro? I’d like to hear some opinions from your point of view.
Hi CK, i wanna ask My shoulder hurts when playing smash, or any overhead shots. My current racket is 88D Pro, with tension 25lbs. I know my technique is still bad, planning to have coach next month, but do you think should i just go for this 77 Pro? Since i'm not looking for tournament, and an amateur player 😅, i want to have fun with pain-free playing badminton
@@ericnguyen8610 Today, i made a decision. I sold my 88D Pro, not gonna have a coach and gonna off from court for a while. I'm gonna heal up my body first, and will have a coach when i'm ready to court. The reason i sell my 88D Pro is i'm not a heavy-smasher and i love to control or front-mid court. So i'm guessing, i will take the Arcsaber11Pro/88SPro/NF700, but i won't bother to buy any racket right now.
Sorry to hear about your shoulder. I guess the first thing to do is to recuperate and heal before looking to get back onto playing.. Good luck and get well soon!

There's a racket that is being sold used sir. The buyer said it is an Astrox 77 pro but it is SP coded so I'm quite hesitant if it is truely the pro version. The 220722SP is the code complete with the proper colored stickers and a pbsi logo. The only untrustful point is the code itself but everything seems legit the same in your website as well as Yonex'. I'm planning to buy it because it's listed at only 2000Php equivalent to 40$. What's your take in it sir? Thank you in advance for any reply given.
even though SP mean that the racket was distributed for Asia Pacific even for japan-made legit racket, if he sell it for 40$ i believe it's a counterfeited one

Hi CK. Which racket is better overall between 77 Pro or 99 Pro? I'm looking for an upgrade from Astrox 100 Tour.
I am deciding between these two as well, but I‘m coming from a 100 Game. How is the 100 tour?
@@tonychen7143 I use 3U and it's very stiff. It's good for attack and fast for defend but it needs a lot of power to unlock it's potential.
Do you know what is the difference between the Astorx 77 and 77 play? It seems like people like the 77 but rarely talk about the play version. Are they the same?
What's your comment about kento momota switched to 77 pro?
CK how would you compare 77 Pro vs Nextage?
The 77 pro is a price category above the the nextage. That said, the 77 pro feels smoother than the nextage but the nextage is cheaper 😂
I am currently using 100 zz , should I switch to 77 pro . Would this be a good decision ? I prefer light weight rackets and like to play in an attacking way .
Thanks which one you like better 77 pro vs 11 pro for all round racket playing double? Thx
I've own both of them. If you are more of a attacking players then definitely the 77 pro. It has more attack power but doesn't dragging you while defending. In terms of 11pro it is amazing if you like to change shuttle direction often, it is very precise yet give you just enough power for smashing.
@@andreanyapteckcheng1865 thank you
Both are great but it’ll be the 11 pro for me as I personally prefer a slightly stiffer feeling than the 77 pro
really want to see comparison 77 pro n 11 pro..any recommendations?
Thanks for the review.... The racket has been a eye catcher in my local Yonex authorised shop. Could you please review the tour n play versions of the new 77 ? There is a good 3000 INR diff between the pro n tour versions.. wanted to check how close the tour is wrt his big bro the pro one..
Hi Ck, kindly suggest which pro version is playable and close to pro versions.. 77 tour, 88d tour, 99 tour and 100 tour? I would like a medium flex racket and head heavy balance
Why not the Astrox nextage?
@@CKYew Thanks for the reply
i felt it today in the shop. It is good. I'm not a strong Smasher but would love to smash. So i thought 88d tour vs 77 tour. If nextage can give me that whip n extra power I'll certainly try so. Btw i am playing with lining tectonic 6 4UG5 daily. So any racket similar to the characteristics would suit
Good luck with it!! 💪🏻
Wanna ask CK, currently using an Arc11 Pro, wanting to switch brands like Li Ning or Victor, which racquet from these brand are similar to the Arc11 Pro in your opinion?
Switch to lining... They are sturdy in built 🤙
The 3D Calibar 900B is very similar to Arc 11 Pro. I have both
Hi @CKyew kinda stuck between 77Pro, Nanoflare 800pro (waiting for your review hehe), and 88s Pro.
Hi CK, I really hope you can review 77 Tour model also.
I’m currently using a arcsaber 7 pro, how does it compare to the 77pro? Could it help me generate more power?
i find it different. Tried the racket couple of tmes, i find it more to singles racket, it is slower when pushing under pressure in doubles. 88D Pro is faster for doubles. this 77 Pro have a more punch than 77, so the 77 Pro smashes n attacks are better.
Don't you find the 88D Pro too slow from mid court to the net?
If anyone has a nanoflare, it's over. 😅
Astrox 88D pro , ashway phantom x shadow, 3D caliber. Astrox 7DG, lining windlite700 , astrox 6 among these which one is good for power smash n controlled play?
Finally back to constant reviewing
Is astrox 77 pro head heavy or counter balanced?
How is this raket compare to Astrox 99 pro?
Is it worth buying if I already have Yonex 88d pro and Victor Thruster F E? I'm keen to try yonex 99 But the price is ridiculous at the moment.
If you're happy with your current rackets, I guess there's no need to buy more
may I ask how to you remove the original factory grip? I removed it but there is still a lot sticking onto the wood🙁. Will leave a like for every video from u as it's so interesting and good ✨✨✨
just clean it slowly
Is it better than Victor Thruster F E?
77 pro or 88s pro for doubles?
can u explain why my shots stronger when im using 4U HH Racket than 3U EVEN BALANCE racket?
Maybe tension, different racket specs
What is the difference between 77 pro & arcsaber 11 pro? I already tried arcsaber 11 pro & I'm quite like it. But dont have the opportunity to try astrox 77 pro yet.
i have both, in my opinion both is very balanced and all rounded racket, 77 pro is head heavier and less stiffer shaft, offering more attacking but losing control compared to 11 pro
@@Zephylos Which one do you prefer?
@@andreaskihlgren i wouldn't say which i prefer more, i like both equally. 77 for more backcourt, straightforward shots, 11 for more front court, controlled/trick shots.
how about astrox 77 tour 3U6
Please review Aura-speed 90k ii
hey CK,
I'm asking for your best advice, what is the best choice between 77 pro and ryuga 2? and what is the reason?
Thanks
Same question from my side, do you get a answer?
I personally prefer the 77 Pro as it’s got a better feedback/feeling
I got one more question, want to pick one between doura z strike, 77 pro, suitable for both singles and doubles, especially singles?
Hi, may I ask if you are planning to review the tour game and play models?
I plan to
@@CKYew awesome. Can't wait
I wonder if there will also be astrox 77 play, game and tour.
There are!
Please compare with arc 11 pro
@ckyew How come this racket is the most used racket in the professional circuit???
Is it? What is your source?
Hi CK, I’m currently using arcsaber 10. Looking for an upgrade. Which one will you prefer arcsaber 11 pro or astrox 77 pro?
I personally prefer the 11 Pro over the 77 Pro but you should try both 😊
I had strung my 77 pro with 27lbs, is it at Iisk in breaking. May I know what is the max tension of it.
I have mine at 28lbs. And I've been playing with over 3 months. Its completely fine.
I want to ask everyone here about the Astrox 77 pro 3u. It is a great racket to play in double? Im currently in dilemma wether to buy the 3u version.
Too heavy. Use 4u better maneuvering for mix and doubles. Play style would be front and mid court, steep attacks, half smash, and placement drive is a wise choice for this astrox 77pro.
great review
Glad you liked it!
77 pro vs 11 pro please CK?
are you going to review the 77 tour and play as well?
77 tour feels stiffer and headheavier than the pro
Do you recommend Astrox 77 Pro 3U or 4U version for men's doubles?
I personally prefer the 4U
currently, I have transitioned from 88s Pro to 77 pro.. the racket is good but lacking in soft touch.. 88s Pro is very good for soft touch but too tad and demanding for me even after a year using it.. for 77 pro, maybe pairing it with exbolt 63 or aerobite would help me to get that soft touch back in action 😅
He posted it 3 weeks ago
Please review mizuno fortius 11 quick too!
You’ll certainly get more power with the 77 Pro compared to the 700. String wise, I like Aerobite but do experiment 💪🏻
@@CKYew what do you think about 7pro? Do you think it’s too similar to Nanoflare 700, I feel hard to choose in between 77 Pro and 7 Pro..
Hi CK, i wanna ask
My shoulder hurts when playing smash, or any overhead shots.
My current racket is 88D Pro, with tension 25lbs.
I know my technique is still bad, planning to have coach next month, but do you think should i just go for this 77 Pro?
Since i'm not looking for tournament, and an amateur player 😅, i want to have fun with pain-free playing badminton
If you already have 88D Pro, just keep using it. Focus on your technique first.
@@CKYew Thank youu CK, stay healthy and stay safe
i suggest you warm up your shoulders and do some badminton stretching exercises (you can find some on youtube like wrist and shoulder blade area) i had the same issue, but it kinda dissipated after doing them.
Astrox nextage and 77 pro about the same price in my country, which to get?
77 pro 😂
Been comparing 77pro n 100x which one u recommend bro
77 pro
There's a racket that is being sold used sir. The buyer said it is an Astrox 77 pro but it is SP coded so I'm quite hesitant if it is truely the pro version. The 220722SP is the code complete with the proper colored stickers and a pbsi logo. The only untrustful point is the code itself but everything seems legit the same in your website as well as Yonex'. I'm planning to buy it because it's listed at only 2000Php equivalent to 40$. What's your take in it sir? Thank you in advance for any reply given.
if its too good to be true, it probably is. Be careful
even though SP mean that the racket was distributed for Asia Pacific even for japan-made legit racket, if he sell it for 40$ i believe it's a counterfeited one
100% fake
with that code it sure fake
yonex now made the code different not date/months/years but month code/year time/random number + location
I ever try 77 and not really impressive.
Guess I won't try 77p.
But IMO 77p and ryuga 2 is the best rackets for 2022
So you haven't tried 77Pro yet you claimed it to be one of the best 2022 rackets along with Ryuga 2?
Hi, I'm currently using the 1st Gen of 88D(Red&Green), currently I'm looking for a replacement for it, would you advice to go for 77pro or get the latest gen of 88dpro?
Oooo it’s a tough one. If you want more flexibility then go for the 77 Pro 👌
77 Pro vs Arcsaber 7 pro any diff?
Want to know this comparison too
absolutly different... i ve try both racket...
77pro , slightly stiff, slghtly HH , repulsion is great fast n powerfull, not easy handle for beginner, need more power
7 pro , medium, even balance, good for control, power not good, easy to handle for everyone, u can play maraton with this racket...
