I was born in 93 and honestly it's pretty cool to see people born in the 2000's jamming to this because you guys were born in a generation of generic hip hop and pop. Gives me some hope for the future of music.
Popularity and renown are not the most important thing to a musician. A lot of bands make good money without being plastered on radio stations and MTV. The proplem with these "music used to be good but now it's bad, blah blah" people is they only pay attention to the mainstream stuff without putting in the effort to actually find bands and albums that are good.
Millennials life achievement: my 3 sons (age 6,4 and 3) are listening to and loving New Found Glory, Blink182, Good Charlotte, The Ataris and all the pop punk from early '00
I agree:) I love punk just as much as I love hip hop, r&b and rap!! music changes through each decade depending on the listeners... you can say todays rap is "just sound" yet many rap artists have rap songs that have a lot of meaning... my fav right now is Classified- Inner Ninja :) awesome rap song and not just "sound"... that guy should shut up and listen outside his genre to expand his mind..!!
i like my time music like new electronic like LMFAO and Black eyed peas but my really favorites are the mid 90s 00s punk pop and punk rock and i just miss all this groups because no one is still doing pure punk songs NFG , B-182 the old ones and more recent ones as all time low, simple plan and fall out boy have become more alternative than punk so no one is still making this music the most close is paramore wich is good and some songs specially forn riot are like punk but its allso more alt
I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about. The Beatles had also used 'a bunch of chords' in their music (Hey Jude, I Want To Hold Your Hand), as well as recurring lyrical motifs, which is what made their songwriting effective. Examples of repetition of the same portion of lyric would include 'Ah, look at all the lonely people' from Elanor Rigby, and of course, 'Let it be' from Let It Be, which is a repeated chant of the song title.
want some more good bands like this NOFX is awesome as well, blink 182 always, Sum41 deffinitly, Old Good Charlotte, Yellowcard, theres a lot more but just go to pandora or dl pandora on ur Iphone or Droid and just type in New Found Glory, and it'll search all types of bands in the same genre.
@oohokaywoah great point but the reason why i didnt use the beatles is beacuse kids nowadays have such ignorance that they dont care to listen to all the true facts and the effect they had on music, they feel that rap and teen pop are amazing to listen to, plus i never really listened to the beatles but i never disrespected their affect on music culture but at the same time i dont listen to shit rap and pop
I wonder if the people who wrote the top comments realize that New Found Glory recently put out a new album??? btw there is still good music being made! you just have to look for it!!
im from "this generation" a generation that as the 70s was remembered because of disco this will be remembered because of one direction and justin bieber and i dont like that that really sucks what im scared is that maybe our generation will be remembered for those suckers product of marketing and candy songs made all from 3 words so that sucks so i just hope my generation would be remembered for the good artists well i dont know who because i dont like music from my time but someone to save us!

Can anyone tell me the difference between this one the more known version that sounds more live'ish, THere's some other guitar in the start than this one?
those where the days. When video games where the shit and not just re-released every damn year with nothing new or original about them besides a different look.
I see and respect where you're coming from, but I still think that NFG and Simple Plan are still retaining a fairly pop-punk style, at least on their respective newest albums.
I’m devastated over the fact that not many teens in my age listen to this banger.
Im 18 and I listen to this banger of a song 🤙🤙🤙

@TheWarriorz1979 NFG STILL makes music today. And if all you hear today is crappy rap then turn off the hip hop stations on your radio.
