I bought the burgundy version which I’ve always felt off in. I have an XL and found it to be too tight and the length is not long enough to actually keep cold air out. It’s the most annoying clothing partial I’ve ever spent money on. My $35 Chinese bomber jacket is way longer and is a more reasonable fit, thus better looking on me. I really liked it and that is why I wanted to upgrade to an actual name brand one but all I got was frustration. Thanks for this video!
I think the slim fit needs to be one size larger for you. You know a jacket fits when you are able to zip it up without feeling discomfort. However, if you’re aiming for a specific and preferred appearance, then functionality doesn’t matter. Overall, an appropriate fit is what makes clothing look elegant. The core looks good on you. If you want to see a nicely fitted flight jacket, see if you can find a video of Andrew Shue wearing one on Melrose Place in the 90s.
Hello, buy the Alpha Industries MA-1 TT model. It is slim fit and without padding, I like it because it is suitable for spring, autumn and summer nights.
Have you tried the Alpha Industries MA-1 VF 59? It's a slimmer fit than the regular MA-1 slim fit version in America, I highly recommend checking it out if you like the slim fit bomber jacket. It's mostly available in the UK and Europe though, I'm looking for the VF 59 women's version for a nice fitted look. I have one I bought unisex, END. Clothing has them I believe. If you do manage to get one, you should definitely do a video! :)
@@joshuacashen7289 Yeah it might be too slim, I came across this video today when I was looking for a video of the women's version of the VF 59 ruclips.net/video/rpKa0zOrb08/видео.html The video is a few years old but from the looks of it, it looks like it gives a good idea of how both the US slim fit version and European slim VF-59 fits for men.
Core looks better on you but i don't understand why they made sleeves shorter but may be it's not noticeable while wearing it don't you feel any discomfort?
im in doubt about slim fit S gold colour(fits well on my body i tested it) and a huge doubt with regular fit XS red bintage with hood. a lot of difference S slim fit and regular (not core) XS size? need info to buy one.
the slim fit is borderline to tight & looking a little silly really as to be trying to hard to look slim. The core is absolutely 100% more flattering. It's appearance is loads better looking. I'd imagine it's more practical & comfortable to wear too.
The slim fit I got was still pretty puffy and looked off. I wish I could find a proper slim fit jacket like this. Maybe the puffiness is the style? Either way it makes the slim fit look like a regular fit. :(
I just bought an L ,same height as U,seems little too small,if I lift my arms up the bottom of the jacket goes above my stomach, pretty stupid for a winter jacket, best way is to put it on before buying
It's strange how a XS fits you so well since you are 6' tall. I am 5.9 and 155 lbs and I bought M and it fits well. I can't imagine myself wearing an S or XS.
Just bought the Miltec flight bomber in S as measurements seemed to be ok , was going to get M,tried on today & it fits beautifully, similar to the slim fit here, i was surprised as I'm 6F & Slim build, it sits perfect on the shoulder, waist & sleeves, i always remember bombers from previous seemed to loosen up over time too so take in account
Alpha Industries Core fit MA-1, CWU45 are way oversized, they must be sized down otherwise you got that balloon look on the back and cuffs are covered from oversized arm leangth. Sold all my S size Alphas and bought XS which fits me incomparably better than S.

YOOO still making Alpha Industries Videos. Great Job My Guy. Keep it up!!! (the OG bomber jacket)

Hmm thats interesting. Im surprised the alpha industries didn't work on you
Excellent realistic review, keep up the good work bro🤝🏻👍🏻
great vid, thanks for comparison, that was what I needed
I have a MA-1 Heritage core fit in XS and a MA-1 VF 59 slim fit in M.
I prefer the core fit in XS because of the wider shoulders & sleeves.
Ahh interesting.
which fit makes your shoulders look wide?

I looked it up, looks very short in the back, the slim fit one is already very slim for me. May be too slim for a guy

Too many patches for me . I like my bombers more simple & not as loud
Core looks better on you but i don't understand why they made sleeves shorter
but may be
it's not noticeable while wearing it
don't you feel any discomfort?
Yea not that noticeable especially if u always wear long sleave sweaters underneath. No discomfort

Yea the puffiness will always be there .
For 5.10 (178cm) and 178lbs (81kg) what size should i get?? Cant find any good size chart not even converting cm to feet. Thanks!!

Thanks for the video, I have a question, there is a lot of difference in the measurements between size XS and S.
thank you
A bit more room . Not a huge difference in length though
@@joshuacashen7289 thanks
What size would you recommend to me, 196cm 82kg ?
all depend on how you carry weight
I’m 1.91 m and 92 kg. I got the MA1 regular fit XL. It sit’s perfectly on my shoulders and the arm length is on point (not to short, not to long).
Hello. Does different measurements apply to length? Like between M and L

You need a mic.. horrible sound
Hmm. Ok
oversized fit on bombers look the best, even the regular one looks way too small
Hmm I prefer more fitted look

Sounds like a small guy issue 😂
Bombers should be tailored, never oversized. Completely spoils the look, in my opinion, but YMMV…
