I was at this event back in 1998 at Leicester Square...lol this event was like 4 hours long with a mad run up to all the Bad Boy artists before the show. I hustled my way through the security like a don...🤣🤣 I lost the VHS copy of this long time ago, do you still have the whole recorded event genesis?

She skipped verses because when performing at events you have to be cautious of time so all she did was speed up the song to keep the show going.
She confused the lyrics...it happens. Instead of stopping, she ad libbed through the missed bars... She was using a track

She doesn’t sound terrible, what y’all are hearing an untrained voice. Faith even said that in her earlier days her voice would always sound shaky. And that she had to practice going up and down on the scales. also she has a wide soprano range. So that can be hard to control sometimes.
Wow, really?!?!?! Can u tell me the interview she said this. Also, she's a self-taught singer. I love her even more now. I like how her voice sounds shaky it gives this weird feeling that makes my heart feel warm.

Faith wasn't a good performer back then. She didn't perform much. Compared to now, she's amazing on stage. She's a lot more measured in approach and control

And Faith was always shy but it’s not about entertaining, becasus she’s not a entertainer she’s a singer. And some of the greatest singers just stand and sing. Becasus that’s their job.

She didn't forget the lyrics she prematurely was about to sing the bridge when she was supposed to be singing the 2nd verse. She caught it and played it off effortlessly.

Faith is a great voice but this rendition of Soon as I get home was unpleasant too much yelling and oversinging according to me. It seems that her voice is already so special that she don't need to do much ad-lib and other stuff to stick her audience. But she's one of the greatest R&B singers in the world
It actually wasn't that bad! She has a really high voice so when she sing shift it'd kinda hard to control. But she was also sick here so I think she was tryna dodgr some of the notes.

Actually she was nervous a lot more back then also she has a wide and high range so it's harder to control and maintain. But her presence has def improved.
