    Awesome video! I'd love to see a video on starting free-form starter locs, preferably "Single Twist" (not many videos out there about it). My 4c hair is short (6 months of growth from a buzz cut) but now it's long enough to form my starter locs. I've been just hand-twisting my hair. Zero products or chemicals. I only use a thick (nearly) all-natural, thick conditioner 1-2 times/month. I'm trying to achieve a "free-form" look, but manipulated just enough to be fairly neat and somewhat uniform. I know two-strand twists make the locs stronger in the long-run...but is it necessary? As mentioned, I'd love to see single-strand free-forms (no parting) if possible. (Not interested in the coiled look).

    Great video! My third time watching. Question: you mentioned we can you could wear the twists for a week or so. After showers and just in general does one continue to use leave in conditioner and oil (argan,jojoba) like normal

    • @hippiebaelala
      @hippiebaelala 3 года назад

      If you leave the twists in try not to get your hair wet and use a spray oil daily to maintain shine! You can use leave in if you want but keep in kind you will have product build up (if you use creams) so dont use it daily, just when you feel like your hair is dry. A spray leave in conditioner is best or a moisturizing spray.

    Damn finally someone who has the same hair texture as mine, i mean mine is not as long lmao only 5 inches but i can now see with him how my hair might look like in the possible future. All i know is my hair type is from 3a-4b, sucks though that my mom refuses to twist my hair

    Dope' but I have natural hair can I do that, and if you last a month with twist can it damage your hair am worried.
