I have not seen 1 6.2 thats in a yard, that doesn't have a hole in the block. Those pistons really know how to come apart.

I have a 6.0 LFA block I want to do this with for sure once I can piece it together

I think a 4" bore piston for a 4" stoke application used with this L8T crank and a 6.200" rod would work out excellent and not need much metal to balance out right.

@@The4L80eGuy yeah another guy mentioned that in a comment I left on a different video. A 6.2” rod with a certain compression height piston. But yeah I think I’m going to give it a try thanks for the inspiration. It’s crazy how much $$$ you have in a stroker kit assembly and next thing you know you have a 7-8 thousand dollar engine when you don’t go the budget route

I noticed you're using the direct injection Pistons, and you said that the Piston would be under the deck a bit. Hence needing to Mill the heads as much as possible. What rod are you using under those 6.2 di Pistons?

the stock L8T rods. Kind of my only option for this cheap experiment. The .863" pin is an odd ball. I have seen plenty of nascar rods with this pin size but they also use the honda 1.888" rod journal which is an interesting way to get fancy rods but the crankshaft grinding to that size would be around a grand for the labor.
