Deck 1: My best friend of 9 years dumped me for the girl who was spreasing rumors and gossiping about me. She and I had talked about going to prom together since we were in elementary school and then she took my bully instead. She wasn't just my best friend: she felt like a sister to me and we had been through everything together. Most of my life and memories have been with her so this really resonated with me. Losing her put me into a depressive spiral and I regretted not talking to her about it for so long. I now realize that she was always toxic and draining the life out of me, but for so long I thought she was the only person who understood me. I bought her flowers for graduation and she hasn't spoken to me since. I've thought about reaching out, but my friends have encouraged me to let it go and I have for the most part.These past few months have told me that she never cared about me the way I cared about her and that really sucks but I am moving on to bigger and better things. I've recently started college and a new job, become closer with my other friends, and overall just excited for the rest of my life.

Group 1 was so scary accurate.. I had a nasty falling out w a friend bc I decided I wasn’t going to enable her VERY problematic & predatory behavior. I was so nervous about doing this & sat on it for months then once I did it (after all the anxiety attacks) I felt so much better and proud of myself. I’m taking this as the universe telling me I did the right thing & to keep moving forward ❤️
