If you're looking for a home, don't be afraid of moving into Garland. Genuinely you cannot find cheaper houses actually in the metroplex, in a decent school district.
If I work in Highland Park (8-5pm), what suburb would you recommend living in? Originally, I was thinking Frisco or Plano, but now I’m concerned about the commute.

If the price of presale house in Garland drop a lot, and the buyer decides not to proceed with the purchase, will they be sued? Or will they only lose the earnest money? thinking to buy house in Garland, but the figures show the price in Garland declined a lot, don't know what's going on
How is the crime in Garland? I am relocating from New Orleans and saw the Riverset Park subdivision in Garland that is up and coming and interested in a home in that area. Do you recommend it? I’m a single male in my 30s with no kids.
Everyone outside of garland will say it’s dangerous. It’s not bad if you ask me, bad stuff happens everywhere. It’s not your traditional suburb where it’s all rainbows and unicorns. But Garland police does not play at all either
Garland has some mixed spots, but Riverset Park is a newer area that’s getting a lot of attention. It could be a good fit-just check out the crime stats and maybe visit the neighborhood to see how it feels.

The only ghetto part in garland is all the apartments. Dallas is a hit or miss depending on location.

Big homeless population,gangs and meth usage in Garland Texas. Garland PD does a great job of keeping a lid on the undesirables.
