We're our own worst critics! This is a nice little piece. A true etude and quite clever as a piece. Sure, it's obvious you have Chopin in your ear, but there's nothing wrong with that!
I've become addicted to the a-flatM - cm - E-flatM modulation in the main theme. And 0:40 sounds so dreamy and misterious. It's incredible how much beautiful music is yet to be composed.

what a wonderful piece, i love pieces that move through a bunch of different harmonies and feelings. would be cool if i was good enough to play this one day... also, that MIDI sounded really musical
I just discovered your music; it's very fresh and original. You have a new subscriber and follower! Keep composing and sharing your art. I like that it has echoes of romanticism but also has harmonies that go into the contemporary, it really is a very interesting piece!
Really nice sounds like a meld of other composers etudes especially chopins. Love the inspiration and love that you have polyrhythms fast that’s tricky
Bravissimo! Bravissimo!
Very interesting and nice piece to listen to and to play. The very last 2 mesures prove the fact, that a piano can have much more sounds that should be discovered. Very well done!!
Modern liszt x chopin x beethoven x mozart x shubert , youre like a composer cocktail thats damn impressive and it sounds so damn good like what?? If you want my opinion do variations on this theme itll be a banger for sure no doubt
A really really wonderful composition. Poses an interesting set of challenges, 4/3 polyrhythm is actually quite easy but effectively changing the accent between the fingers and beats is very tricky. Did you play this, or is it a midi realisation? If you played it, well played, and if it’s a midi realisation, well done, because it passes for a real performance.
It makes me so happy to hear music like this being composed again, and not just atonal interpretive pieces, I'm a 19 year old pianist who wants to learn composition, and hesring this is so so so inspiring, thank you so much ❤️ 🌟
Repent and trust in Jesus. We all deserve Hell for our sins, such as lying lusting coveting and more. We can't save ourselves, but Jesus can save us. I’m exactly in your shoes, what helped me learn composition was listening and reading the score to my favorite composers like Rachmaninoff. To get started u should just kinda format your style to them and then branch your own style off of their ideas
I realy liked your composition, i want to learn it, but im learning the chopin etudes for now, maybe then i play it for you, and if i do it, i will uipload a video playing it, good job!!!
Would you mind sharing the soundfont used, or did you adjust each note's velocity to make it more realistic? It is so godly cool and well-written, plus your composition made it much, much better 🤓 brilliant work!
It's so good, something I always wanted to compose myself, but I just don't know any composition stuff and very lazy. Did you study something to do this or just listened to a lot of romantic pieces? Also It has the same mood as chopins op 25 no 1
Thanks! (yes, the ending is a direct reference to 25/1) i mostly just listen/play a lot of romantic pieces, so most of my experience/writing style is lifted from that time period

Wow! You don't see a lot of well written concert etudes for piano anymore! My favorite section was the chromatic passage at 1:00
I generally like pieces where a melody shines above dense accompaniment and this sounds great I love it!
Like chopins “harp” etude or libersterum by Liszt
Great composition! It reminds me of Chopin’s Etude op25 no1, sounds really smooth.
wow. just…wow. and it sounds so clean and expressive, almost like a real recording. you’ve gained a new sub!
Sounds amazing, I can see a lot of inspiration from Chopin's etude op 25 no 1 also in a flat
That and his op28 no.19
This is breathtaking, very professional, the right amount of challenge, and beautiful sound. Lovely work!
