This piece would be really good trick question for a Music History Listening exam to intentionally trip up students because it sounds like something from the Romantic era, even though it was composed in the twenty-first century.

The beginning sounds like a part in Liszt's Paganini etude no.3 1838 version

Have you tried playing this by yourself please? Not sure how pianistic it is and how well it fits into the hands, or if it's physically possible to bring out those inner melody voices like this synthesia software does so well. In the end, it's an incredibly beautiful piece that I've been listening to a lot even if it's a computer playing. The harmonies and textures are so evocative and impressionistic. I'm wishing to give it a try provided it's possible to play.

(long comment alert) so i'll probably be doing genshin arrangements of this style for now on (with some original stuff thrown in, hopefully?!), and i'll probably learn a bunch of these for 2025 (need to clean off my 2024 repertoire list). here is the plan for the next few weeks: i'll be knocking off many of the shorter arrangements in the upcoming half year; i can't start anything big because i would be too busy. i'll probably finish up a liyue arrangement (also left hand transcription) by the end of this week, if math research is not killing me it would be nice if i could finish these by mid-august (before GRE/graduate school application grind starts): - wind-washed mountains (mondstadt) - at least two versions of above the sea of clouds (liyue, qingyun peak) - two versions of hanachirusato (inazuma) - one version of ruu's melody (inazuma, tsurumi island) - sorush's purity (sumeru) - one version of la vaguelette (fontaine, furina's story quest song) some of the larger stuff i'm planning to do include (this is not exhaustive!); i will likely start on these in 2025: - symphony of boreal wind (mondstadt, andrius battle theme) - tales from the snow mountain (mondstadt, from their dragonspine feature video) - chasing the torrents (liyue, battle theme) - ode to azhdaha (liyue, azhdaha battle theme) - inazuma (i.e., the track titled inazuma) - embrace of sea waves (inazuma) - gilded runner (sumeru, battle theme) - rhapsodia roscida (sumeru, scaramouche battle theme, 2 versions!) - fontaine (again, the track titled fontaine, 2 versions!) - virelai des marees (fontaine, battle theme) i also have a version of la vaguelette currently done, written for combined voice+piano solo and am practicing it --- i will post it once i stop sounding bad

This is very nice haha! I am a pianist and as far as I can tell, it's playable. I also can tell you have seen the sheet music for LH-only etudes. Also didn't realize until now that theme music score could have such expressive directions.
