I appreciate the compliment. And honestly as much love as Hazbin Hotel has gotten, I would say it isn’t enough, so maybe it is a bit underrated, or more so underappreciated.
I do dislike the voice actor for husk. Compared to his previous works you can hear how he didn't even put much effort into his role, really upset me with how nucy the voice actor for angel dust put sooo much effort into it.
To be fair with Husk’s voice, he is meant to sound completely dead inside and even at his best he’s still a miserable old man and I believe Keith David did that perfectly. Angel Dust though, that depends on the viewer I suppose, I personally still liked his voice, but I do miss Kovach like a lot of people. I’m used to the new voice though.
@@Endore5000 I personally think it sounds flat instead of miserable. Sounds just like the voice actors everyday voice with not effort to make it SOUND miserable or done with life. I think everyone else on the team did a wonderful job even if the writing was rushed but I cannot stand the new actor for husk....
Honestly, any other show with hazbin's writing and pacing would be trashed. Hazbin is heavily carried by it's songs and character interactions , which isn't a bad thing unless someone doesn't click with them, then the show wouldn't be recommended.
I think it’s the other way around, any other show with Hazbin Hotel’s issues would be forgiven immediately. Because people love hating on it, on Twitter specifically, really just Twitter where the brainless gather. Everyone else knows the show is good even with its flaws. I remember on Twitter they even tried to say the animation was bad??? Which is like saying the sky is green and grass is blue, because you know it’s not true if you have eyes.
I personally think the show isn’t very good. The songs are incredible but the actual writing is really bad. All of angel dusts character development is done off screen💀. I think the show is fun, but that’s all it is. If you think about the writing for more than five seconds everything falls apart

Loved Keith David as Dr. Umataro Tenma from Netflix's Pluto anime adaptation dub, so I am happy to hear him again in Hazbin Hotel as Husk.
Keith David’s voice for an out of luck bartender was in my eyes (and ears) perfect casting. What a gem!

TRUEING!!! Hazbin Hotel has its problems, but it’s just so fun. Still I hope they iron out the problems before season 2.
