Part of me wonders if you can take this guy's head and stick it on the Deluxe figure's body so you can have a Mirage with a face instead of that mask that was never in the movie...
You could also just turn the light on by just shaking the figure around. I actually do know how those sensors work. There's essentially a little weighted ball inside that when you impact or just shake the toy that ball will move around inside hitting buttons that turn on the lights. There are a LOT of toys with similar gimmicks and some of them are made with translucent parts that allow you to see exactly how it works. My son has a few toys like where it's soft translucent rubber on the outside and on the inside you can just see all the internal components that make the light up gimmick work. They all work the same way, a lot of companies have some sort of toy like this. So yeah you should be able to make it work by just shaking it though you might have to experiment with it a little bit because in my experience if you shake it too fast or too slow some times it doesn't always work. I'm pretty sure the impact sensors in Lightsabers work the same way too by the way because some times the impact sound FX will go off when I'm just swinging it around and haven't actually hit anything. But it could very from one toy to another how much you need to shake it to fool it into registering as an impact depending on how sensitive those internal buttons are and the weight of the ball being used in the build. Some times the ball can roll over the buttons without activating them cause it needs a pretty specific amount of force to actually get the button activated when the ball hits it. There's multiple impact buttons around the ball chamber so it can hit any of those buttons to activate as well. With Lightsabers I'm pretty sure this is how you get different sound effects as each of those impact buttons can be programed with a different sound effect. But with a toy like this they're just turning on a light.
Mirage is my favorite movie character, and I’m ready for the next live action to happen.
This figure easily blows the SS version out of the water in terms of accuracy.
i have the 07 Optimus, great little kit, good representation of the character design

Mirage is my favourite autobot and that’s a cool looking figure
I got to finally see Rise of the Beasts recently. I thought Mirage was alright.
