As a Note Air 3C user, the colors on the RPP look amazing. On that one page of all text, however, the text looked very uneven and tough to read. Could you show us some technical PDFs, and maybe zoom in close to show the font rendering?
FWIW, the text rendering and anti-aliasing is still bugged in rMPP, perhaps a software update can fix this. The issue is absent in the rM2, for example. This is not a hardware problem directly.
do you think that in the future we will be able to change the pen nib with aftermarket ones ? the official one feels too hard plastic and makes an annoying plastic sound
For comics/manga that have a double page spread, can you rotate from portrait to landscape orientation to show both left and right pages at the same time?
@@txnyen is it simple to take out all documents , folders at once from the desktop app? And are there any way to see the original version on desktop instead of the annotated ones?
Im assuming maybe you used the remarkable 2. If you have, do you notice a difference in the jagged edges of the writing? Remarkable 2 didnt have the smoothest edges on the writing so im wondering if the pro is better with that aspect
Remarkable, 3 taps to change the color is too much. It should one touch for 3 or more saved pens. It is very "distracting" to have to manipulate multiple menu options to do simple things.
First useful review we have of the Remakrable Paper Pro. Thank you!
you noticed! lol
Perfect example !!! Just what I wanted to see !! Thank you !!
Even if I already took my decision to sell my RM2 in order to buy Pro !!
Thank you, more useful than the paid reviews 🤣 How do you find the flickering of the colors? Is it manageable or too distracting?
I got quickly used to it, so it will be manageable for most people I believe!

@@circli I hope they patch that quickly. It would make me feel a lot better about the device.
The gallery tech seems to be better than the kaleido tech. The colors and whiteness are impressive. Flickering and refresh though..
The flickering is so annoying!
im shocked to see no color wheel.
but it can display color variations?

I am sure there will be. If not official, then third party.
@@txnyen does the tip has any proprietary tech inside that makes it different to replicate ?
I could just Imagine if Remarkable and Onyx could collaborate to make perfect e-ink tablet!
No it won't be. Android will be terrible with gallery3. Bigme tried it and everyone hated it.
Seems its same slow and laggy as rm2. Weird how they did not work on that thing in last 4 years and still charging a bomb.
For comics/manga that have a double page spread, can you rotate from portrait to landscape orientation to show both left and right pages at the same time?
It does not support comics format unfortunately, and you can only view 1 page at a time.
Is the light strong enough for reading in dim areas ?
I rarely use setting 1-2, even in completely dark rooms. Setting 4 and 5 works well for me in dim rooms.
@@txnyen Hmmm ok thanks ☺️
I wish the flashing can be less dramatic 😢 it looks so uncomfortable
Good demonstration! How does it handle large pdfs? (30-50 Mb+) I'd really like to read manga on it but it's painfully slow on my remarkable 2.
The Bone comic is 740 MB. The other comics I am showing are around 5-10 MB.
Can you view pdf / comics side by side (2pages at once ?) and secondly does it support comics format or do you need to use pdf always?

@@davidhoang2527 Yes to your first question. If you have made notes on the file, it will also carry over.
@@txnyen thanks txnyen, can't wait for mine comes to test it out.
Do you see any ghosting? In the video there doesn't appear any but could be compression/the camera masking it.
No ghosting during this shooting!

It is better indeed.
great video! How did you get the comics in pdf format?
Thanks! I used a converter online, but forgot the name. The ones I am showing here were already in pdf when I got them though.
@@txnyenwhere do you get your comics may i ask
