    I am totally new to crochet and I was able to follow your instructions!! It is particularly helpful how you use another hook to point the chain, you stretch it well enough for me to see...something I have struggled with other videos.

      Let's All Crochet Hi Aki, I know I want to make that before winter hits because that would really feel good when the weather gets down to zero here. My shawl is getting longer each day, will do another one sometime with different yarn that doesn’t split. 😁. Had to frog back 3 rows yesterday! Have a beautiful day😊

    • @LetsAllCrochet
      @LetsAllCrochet  3 года назад +1

      Hey barb! I bet it's nice to have warm ears but we need something to keep the nose warm too 😁 how is the shawl so far? The splitting yarns are hard to work with but once it's done gonna be so pretty! Oh it happens when we don't pay attention lol (I should know)I hope you had a good day goodnight 😊

    • @barbd9887
      @barbd9887 3 года назад +1

      Aki, it’s going on 10:00 here, so you may be just waking up. The time difference intrigues me. Lol I now have 34” done. I had to work on a sewing project for awhile. I work with a friend of mine on doing shoeboxes that get sent to poor countries by our churches. I have a box of fabric that we want to make into bags or pillowcases for children. They’re easy to make so I just work on them a little while when I feel like it I have till sometime in November to get it done. I would love to be there and see the kids open these boxes up. I got to see a video of it once and it was amazing to see their little faces when they see what’s inside. We send them crayons, little tablets, toothpaste toothbrush school supplies all kinds of stuff go in a shoebox. I’m working on my shawl tonight till bedtime. Have a blessed day Aki.

    Beautiful I made one for my daughter and it looks nice but now she said it getting bigger and sliding down what should I do to make it so as she use it not to stretch she said maybe put a button on it and then she won’t have to put it down over her head need help because I’m making another one right now

    • @LetsAllCrochet
      @LetsAllCrochet  3 года назад +2

      Hi most crochet items tend to stretch. Here is a few things you can do -
      1. Use a yarn that stretches less (some tend to stretch more)
      2. Try making it 1-2 inches smaller than the head circumference, use a smaller hook if needed.
      3. Line the inside/ or a part of the inside with cloth that will prevent the stretching completely.
