Is he talking about the jumanji acro? Or the sbb half baked? People paying big bucks to get those since its almost impossible to get. Shane lost his colony and he was one of the few that had it.
Not sure if they are same acros with different names or not but they are not listed. These are just Reinaldo's personal opinion which I was curious to find out.
ruclips.net/video/hzKmyN-UK2I/видео.html Here you go. Detailed video on what he feeds to supplement them and salinity is kept at 35 to 36 ppt if I remember correctly.
Do your frag plugs start off white then turn dark or do you buy dark frag plugs? I was wanting to get some black frags plugs but cant seem to find them...
I believe names are good to have lineages and to id the corals. Re-naming same corals 100 different names? It's stupid. Prices? Yea, I think it's dumb but I think hobbyists have to share the fault for paying ridiculous prices and demanding for more. Do you think it would be that high if no one bought it? For example, for the longest time, Walt Disney mariculture colonies didn't sell at all when it was for less then 100 USD (colonies) until Mike Biggar (rip) made that piece stand out by coloring it up nicely and sell for hundreds of dollars on a little booger of a coral. It's a weird thing lol. I agree with you on both parts for the most.
@@Reefscom Jesus Christ, I’ve been out of the hobby for a few years and in the same day I learned we lost Mike Biggar and Jake Adams, reef in paradise gentleman 😢
@@stefk4862 it's somewhat of a joke and kind of not in a sense. If one doesn't have nice tank or can't keep a nice tank, how qualified are they on teaching/advising you to keep a beautiful reef.
I really wish people sotp referring to acroporas (or any coral, for that matter) as 'pieces'. Makes them sound like some sculptured art, not a living animal.
@@opethmike for sure it's not an art (although I do often call it a living art) but people often use the term piece of coral (fragment) so I feel that both are correct in a sense.
@@Reefscom Yeah, and it's a term that should absolute be moved away from. Price and 'value' (fish included here as well) are talked about in the hobby FAR more than the intrinsic value of animal's life, and that needs to change.
@@opethmike I agree with 99 percent of what you said but that one percent is that I don't think the majority of the hobby isn't thinking of piece as how you are portraying it as. Maybe some vendors but certainly not the hobbyists.
Pure fire start to finish 🔥🙏
I would love to see those corals under regular "white light", say 14K at least..
Thank you so much for sharing!
You don't like the oversaturated unrealistic look in the video?
My favourite sps is walt disney acro.
Good choice!
He's got a million dollar collection.
Pirates Reef is one of the best SPS guru's there is!!!
I agree!
Nice corals
Brilliant video superb corals 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for watching Pete!
Fantastic! How do you keep your no3 and Po4?
May I know ca, kh and mg for this sps tank? and what product to use for the trace element?
Pirates Reef for the win boys and girls 💪💪💪.

Hello,
What do you use for coral supplements? Also, what do you keep your salinity at?
Thank you

A lot of these corals are recorded under a light filter.
Don't let Jake Adams hear you use those names.LOL!!!
😆 it's just one man's (Reinaldo's) opinion. Honestly, it's more for my entertainment and personal curiosity then anything else. 😆
Jake also use those names anyway.. LOL!
will they ship to mexico ??? (dont care for price) or theyre gonna make me go up there !! stunning pieces
Reach out to him in his social media handles and let's see what he can do for you.
How about a 2022 hottest sps I loved this episode
Funny thing. I was just talking to pirate about this yesterday 😆 maybe I will visit another spa guru, speed reefer.

He has both white and black ones.
@@Reefscom ahh ok ill look around online then for some. Thanks!
I cant figure out what kind i just got
Its a frag and it looks almost like liquid copper in a way. I know nothing about corals but ive been looking all over the web cant find it.

at how much paar you keep the most sps?

what's your no3 and po4? Thx
Gotta reach out to him directly for those information.
🔥
They all look brown when u buy them and have them in ur tank
the guys that are selling it are the ones callin it "hot" all them reefers fall for it too 😂.
These are all under pure blue/actinic lighting. Most of these will look nothing like the video if you run any white light at all.
Actually it does have some whites on although it did have lot of blue/uv on the light settings.
So sorry g
Stupid names stupid prices its killing the hobby!
