Another tiny detail i've noticed: The sound made while moving differs depending on the clothes you are wearing. For example, when wearing a bomber jacket, you can hear the clicking sound of the zipper, which is not heard when wearing only the t-shirt.

you can also stash bodies in any accessible car trunk, they'll stay in there while you drive and you can unload them far from where they originally died.

It's not just the bugs. At least those make me hurt my stomach laughing sometimes. They also have to fix some of the horrible mechanics, such as the zoom level of the minimap while driving, the stupid traffic AI, lack of any meaningful way to see anything in dark areas, having to wear goofy outfits just for the stats, and the list goes on... Even if they do all that (which I hope they would), they still won't be able to bring us the hardly existing "deeply branching storyline" or the non-violent open-world activities which they promised.
@@mosabzahedi6416 the minimap has a little arrow on the outside of it that will usually indicate turns coming, and have you seen the way people drive in large cities? an incendiary grenade works as an amazingly good flare. there is a thing called crafting that if you perk into you can literally find your favorite set of close and upgrade them to match the levels of gear you are finding. deeply branching storyline?... are you even playing cyberpunk???

I accidentally chopped a toilet with a katana once, and the lid broke apart where I cut it, and it left blade marks across the toilet rim. I was blown away at the detail, and also it’s pretty funny they expected someone would want to dice up a toilet.
I'm pretty sure you can leave blade marks across anything you slash in the game, it's like a bullet decal when shooting walls but instead it's a slash mark
Speaking about cars, while inside a stationary car, I moved the camera trying to display the underside of the car, and it's really amazing how the devs put time and effort in such details. Even moving the car slightly forward or backward shows how the car's shock absorbers (dampers) and suspension behaves.
2:36 When you give control to johnny to brink back SAMURAI, you will play in a band with Kerry, and you can clearly see how your hand matches precisely what you're playing. This detail is insane if you think about how much hour that went into something that is easily missed.
it does for the guitars, not so sure abount drums and keys though... they took so much care with the guitars and fucked over drums, which, as a drummer... made me a little sad (I am not talking only animations, but also models).
I like what Gameranx is doing here. On one hand, they are telling people that this is at best a decent game (my impression from "before you buy" ) and on the other, they are posting a new video about Cyberpunk almost every day in the last two weeks. You give a lot of attention to what is a "decent game" at best.

Fuck it, Imma play the game till it breaks. There's too much to enjoy, even with all the bugs and performance issues. Edit: Hotfix 1.06 is out and removes the 8mb limit. This does not fix previously corrupted save files.
Play it when it’s fixed. It has really mediocre gameplay and only good thing it has is the story and characters, so I don’t really see the point of subjecting yourself to constant crashes, visual mess (if you are on ps5, PS4) and dumb as fuck a.I.

That attention to detail on reloading has always been awesome, even so adding a slightly different animation for the empty reload. Only game that really did something similar I played was Crysis. Very cool addition.
i feel like its weird to mention though, because most if not all FPS games of late do it. like its not really a clever detail unless you showcase the weapons that arent based off of real designs.

This is a nice video. Everyone is talking about the BAD details and the BAD things about the game. The developers worked hard and it shows even at this state.
The game is absolutely incredible. Witcher 3 was my favorite open-world RPG, but as a huge sci-fi, cyberpunk genre fan, this game may end up being my favorite. I've put 20+ hours in the game and it's been an absolute pleasure, even in lieu of bugs and glitches.
Don't forget back in 2011 people said the same thing about skyrim when it first came out and how buggy it was but over time it became one of the best games of the decade

Love that Ziggy Q show. Ziggy is definitely not as much of an asshole as I thought he would be. He still is one, but he is not that bad and he is entertaining to watch. I especially love tha animation in those shows, it really looks like they put a lot of effort into those.
Just finished the game on PC, I get there is a bit rough around some edges (to put it lightly) but it is the best game I have ever played overall. The writing and world building are just on another level, the gamplay is fun and the freedom of approach on level design makes it even better. I can't wait to play it again in the future, maybe patched and expanded.

Update.. fully completed the game.. every side mission and crime is done pretty much.. I’m just waiting for an update to finish it tho.. I’m on the side mission where you have the dude in the trunk of the car yur supposed to deliver,, but when I go into the garage to get the car, the car isn’t there.. I still love the game but I can’t wait for the updates! It’ll make the game so much better to not have to worry about this. If anyone knows a fix lmk please

I'm a huge fan of film, music, literature , comics and video games and get involved in a lot of community discussions and can definitely agree that based off my experience, the video game community can be incredibly toxic, hateful and often unintelligent when it comes to arguments and productive discussions. Video games are one of my favorite mediums because it takes elements of all the other mediums (music, film, literature) but makes it even more immersive, thus i find it to often be very forward thinking, but the amount of negativity and hate in video game communities is a major issue that needs to be addressed. Just because you're (proverbial) writing things on the internet, it's not lost to the void, it can really affect real life people when hateful things are said and a lot of people either forget this or actively choose not to care.
The problems in the game does not stem from the designing team but from the programing team. People complain like "ThEy AdDeD 10 gAzIlIoN sTiCkErS iN tHe PhOtO mOdE InStEaD oF fIxInG tHe GaMe!!!!1!!" well yeah but actually no you can't ask a 2d artist to do programing and vice & versa! Being able to competently do both at the same time is a very uncomon trait. The designer side has been done for a while now and the only thing the modelers, 2d artists, world designer etc are left to do now is just wait for the programers to get their shit together. So yeah they work on adding details, creating new area on the map, making decals and meme pose for the photo mode because they literaly had nothing else to do those last couple of months.
Once you decide to see beyond the bugs and look deeper into the world as a living city there's a whole new level of detail. Sometimes just standing as the NPCs do their thing is fun as the conversations they have change as the game progresses such as the lead up to the parade there's some moaning about parts being closed for the procession
I had a store employee actually act like she had a Japanese accent, it gave me the choice to say “Japanese people dont actually sound like that” and homegirl actually had an English (American) accent LMAO I was BLOWN away
If you notice, Us Cracks ( the japanese girl group in Kerry's quests) do that as well. When talking to us they speak with basic American accent but when performing they fake Japanese accent
It's kind of the "cool" thing at the moment to hate on this game even though the game IS playable on multiple systems so these positive Cyberpunk videos are really appreciated. It's not the best game ever made or anything like I think some people are expecting but I'm having a great time playing it.
I always wanted to ride a roller coaster with Keanu Reeves. They should’ve had a Cyberpunk contest where that happened in real life. That would’ve been breathtaking. Now I’m just sad. Thanks Gamranx.
There is a crazy amount of detail in the world they created. There are also things missing, like weather conditions while driving. Drive down a wet road, and figure out what's missing. As well the ambient sound seems roughly the same everywhere unless there is a crime happening close by. And one that gets me all the time, when you turn your back to an NPC while they are talking, you can't hear them anymore. Still enjoying it though.
All my settings are fine. I'm playing with surround sound and am not the only person having issues. Besides that Cyberpunk is literally the only thing that has issues. Other games, Adobe Premiere projects, music projects, Movies, literally everything I have works just as it should for 5.1 except CP2077. It only happens when you turn away from the NPC while they are talking. The game will act like you left the room or are too far away to hear them. It's just bad implementation or a bug. Is it annoying sure, but not game-breaking. I play with subtitles and save often so really don't care that much. However not having any wet road noises when driving on a wet road really does throw me off.
I didn’t realize the game wasn’t finalized? If you’re talking about updates and patches those won’t “finish the game” the game itself is already finished. Bugs and glitches being fixed won’t change the detail already put in the game.
A neat little thing I noticed was, occasionally if you get V to check mirrors, Johnny will show up in V's place, causing a neat little "what the fuck?" reaction from V. Obviously it's meant to showcase just how unsure V is of their identity, but it's also kinda cool for posing Johnny in the mirror.
About car inter detail: If you look closely at one of the screens, specifically the climate control screen, you will see a tiny spinning fan, indicating that the air conditioning is on. The details are insane in this game.
An incredible piece of details is also all the shards you can collect along the journey, if you take time to read them they really add some depth to the game
It's such a pity about the bugs, if this game is incredible (I haven't played it) then I feel bad for the creators, all their hard work hidden by the meme of buggyness
i cry when i see the amount of detail put in most parts of this game, while other parts were made by rushing investors and bad young developers... So sad the hate this game is getting... I am loving it 108 hours played but only 20% main mission completed 1% side mission done and 5% gigs done and still have 1.3 million on the bank and so much shards to read and details to reveal in every metric cubic of this game...
I’d say this game is way more playable than fallout 4 when it came out, of course that is if you have a Xbox one x or ps4 pro minimum. content wise it’s more lacking than gta 5 yes, but compare to Witcher 3? About the same in my opinion, no tennis or golf in Witcher as well.

It's amusing when I see people expected GTA VI in the future but the were given a Witcher in the future. Rokcstar had multiple times larger budget and formest it is a different genre! I wonder why nobody expexts such a detailed world from fantasy game? Horse ride customization? Etc
I sat down and watched tv as well. Its clear to me that the game they started making was much more detailed and then the executives decided they wanted to rush the game out and the game went from what could have been a groundbreaking game to a slightly above average game with a ton of bugs.

It's not just the bugs. At least those make me hurt my stomach laughing sometimes. They also have to fix some of the horrible mechanics, such as the zoom level of the minimap while driving, the stupid traffic AI, lack of any meaningful way to see anything in dark areas, having to wear goofy outfits just for the stats, and the list goes on...
Even if they do all that (which I hope they would), they still won't be able to bring us the hardly existing "deeply branching storyline" or the non-violent open-world activities which they promised.
@@mosabzahedi6416 the minimap has a little arrow on the outside of it that will usually indicate turns coming, and have you seen the way people drive in large cities? an incendiary grenade works as an amazingly good flare. there is a thing called crafting that if you perk into you can literally find your favorite set of close and upgrade them to match the levels of gear you are finding. deeply branching storyline?... are you even playing cyberpunk???

I accidentally chopped a toilet with a katana once, and the lid broke apart where I cut it, and it left blade marks across the toilet rim. I was blown away at the detail, and also it’s pretty funny they expected someone would want to dice up a toilet.
I'm pretty sure you can leave blade marks across anything you slash in the game, it's like a bullet decal when shooting walls but instead it's a slash mark

The street crossings also change depending on where you are - the one's in the poorer outskirts are less techie than those in the centre of the city
Speaking about cars, while inside a stationary car, I moved the camera trying to display the underside of the car, and it's really amazing how the devs put time and effort in such details. Even moving the car slightly forward or backward shows how the car's shock absorbers (dampers) and suspension behaves.

Edit: Hotfix 1.06 is out and removes the 8mb limit. This does not fix previously corrupted save files.
Just save early and often (manually). The quicksave can be used as a buffer between tough spots of gameplay. Also, enjoy the hell out of it. 🤗

That attention to detail on reloading has always been awesome, even so adding a slightly different animation for the empty reload. Only game that really did something similar I played was Crysis. Very cool addition.

The game is absolutely incredible. Witcher 3 was my favorite open-world RPG, but as a huge sci-fi, cyberpunk genre fan, this game may end up being my favorite. I've put 20+ hours in the game and it's been an absolute pleasure, even in lieu of bugs and glitches.

Love that Ziggy Q show. Ziggy is definitely not as much of an asshole as I thought he would be. He still is one, but he is not that bad and he is entertaining to watch. I especially love tha animation in those shows, it really looks like they put a lot of effort into those.

Just finished the game on PC, I get there is a bit rough around some edges (to put it lightly) but it is the best game I have ever played overall. The writing and world building are just on another level, the gamplay is fun and the freedom of approach on level design makes it even better. I can't wait to play it again in the future, maybe patched and expanded.

Despite what's going on with CDPR, the atrocious launch and the negative press the game receiving etc., justifiably, at least, this video is somewhat positive and a breath of fresh air.

Vast majority of the hate is not justifiable and large parts of the "press" and players are delusional, making up countless things that are false.

I'm a huge fan of film, music, literature , comics and video games and get involved in a lot of community discussions and can definitely agree that based off my experience, the video game community can be incredibly toxic, hateful and often unintelligent when it comes to arguments and productive discussions. Video games are one of my favorite mediums because it takes elements of all the other mediums (music, film, literature) but makes it even more immersive, thus i find it to often be very forward thinking, but the amount of negativity and hate in video game communities is a major issue that needs to be addressed. Just because you're (proverbial) writing things on the internet, it's not lost to the void, it can really affect real life people when hateful things are said and a lot of people either forget this or actively choose not to care.
The problems in the game does not stem from the designing team but from the programing team. People complain like "ThEy AdDeD 10 gAzIlIoN sTiCkErS iN tHe PhOtO mOdE InStEaD oF fIxInG tHe GaMe!!!!1!!" well yeah but actually no you can't ask a 2d artist to do programing and vice & versa! Being able to competently do both at the same time is a very uncomon trait. The designer side has been done for a while now and the only thing the modelers, 2d artists, world designer etc are left to do now is just wait for the programers to get their shit together. So yeah they work on adding details, creating new area on the map, making decals and meme pose for the photo mode because they literaly had nothing else to do those last couple of months.

Once you decide to see beyond the bugs and look deeper into the world as a living city there's a whole new level of detail. Sometimes just standing as the NPCs do their thing is fun as the conversations they have change as the game progresses such as the lead up to the parade there's some moaning about parts being closed for the procession
I had a store employee actually act like she had a Japanese accent, it gave me the choice to say “Japanese people dont actually sound like that” and homegirl actually had an English (American) accent LMAO I was BLOWN away

It's kind of the "cool" thing at the moment to hate on this game even though the game IS playable on multiple systems so these positive Cyberpunk videos are really appreciated. It's not the best game ever made or anything like I think some people are expecting but I'm having a great time playing it.

There is a crazy amount of detail in the world they created. There are also things missing, like weather conditions while driving. Drive down a wet road, and figure out what's missing. As well the ambient sound seems roughly the same everywhere unless there is a crime happening close by. And one that gets me all the time, when you turn your back to an NPC while they are talking, you can't hear them anymore. Still enjoying it though.
Bill hm maybe your soundsettings are wrong? I use headphones and with the headphone soundoption i can hear any npc Talking around me.
All my settings are fine. I'm playing with surround sound and am not the only person having issues. Besides that Cyberpunk is literally the only thing that has issues. Other games, Adobe Premiere projects, music projects, Movies, literally everything I have works just as it should for 5.1 except CP2077.
It only happens when you turn away from the NPC while they are talking. The game will act like you left the room or are too far away to hear them. It's just bad implementation or a bug. Is it annoying sure, but not game-breaking. I play with subtitles and save often so really don't care that much.
However not having any wet road noises when driving on a wet road really does throw me off.

I didn’t realize the game wasn’t finalized? If you’re talking about updates and patches those won’t “finish the game” the game itself is already finished. Bugs and glitches being fixed won’t change the detail already put in the game.
The animation department is the only part of the game that was finished, hence why it consists in 3/4 of the video.
A neat little thing I noticed was, occasionally if you get V to check mirrors, Johnny will show up in V's place, causing a neat little "what the fuck?" reaction from V. Obviously it's meant to showcase just how unsure V is of their identity, but it's also kinda cool for posing Johnny in the mirror.

About car inter detail: If you look closely at one of the screens, specifically the climate control screen, you will see a tiny spinning fan, indicating that the air conditioning is on. The details are insane in this game.
Did You notice when the pedestrians run in crosswalk, the fat guy doesn't. That's incredible real world detail.
An incredible piece of details is also all the shards you can collect along the journey, if you take time to read them they really add some depth to the game

i cry when i see the amount of detail put in most parts of this game, while other parts were made by rushing investors and bad young developers... So sad the hate this game is getting... I am loving it 108 hours played but only 20% main mission completed 1% side mission done and 5% gigs done and still have 1.3 million on the bank and so much shards to read and details to reveal in every metric cubic of this game...

I also did notice vehicles can switch to high and low beams. Lots of really cool details. Amazing game.
Despite the game's shortcomings, it's still a fun one. It's just unfortunate that not everyone can play like those on the next gen. ❤️

yes that needs to be added, even gta5 online has car customization and you buy new apartments in the city , bigger than the others
It's amusing when I see people expected GTA VI in the future but the were given a Witcher in the future. Rokcstar had multiple times larger budget and formest it is a different genre! I wonder why nobody expexts such a detailed world from fantasy game? Horse ride customization? Etc

I sat down and watched tv as well. Its clear to me that the game they started making was much more detailed and then the executives decided they wanted to rush the game out and the game went from what could have been a groundbreaking game to a slightly above average game with a ton of bugs.

Finally, you started playing the game instead of complaining about it. What you put here barely scratches the surface. I'm at 50 hrs in and haven't gone beyond 20% in the story. Reviewers who "completed" the game in 20 hrs and complain about it baffle me
how stupid can you be. just astonishing. it baffles you people don't like it yet the game has be removed from the ps4 store and on xbox literally warns their players of technical issues on the store. just because the game runs alright on pc doesnt mean it's good
@@zacharybrown5325 the gigantic lawsuit and the fact it isn’t even on PS store when anthem and fallout 76 were, Shows it’s a broken piece of shit game. They had advertised dozens of mechanics and elements that aren’t even in the game. They intentionally hid console gameplay so nobody could see how bad the game is, then sold it knowing it wouldn’t work on half the people who buy it console. CDPR just fucked their loyal consumers... and you wanna spread your cheeks and take it. You’re allowed to enjoy the game just like others are allowed to bash it, if your gonna try to superman save CDPR cuz they fucked up in order the line the pockets of the higher up suits..., then the Only one stupid here is you. Give it a year... this game will probably still continue to be the most falsely hyped letdown of gaming history.

Yes CDPR fucked up, but the narrative content, the stuff i personally care about in games these days, is excellent. if the gameplay is bad enough in your opinion to outweigh that than fine, but don't you dare call me or anyone else stupid for appreciating something you don't. its just not cool and it makes _you_ seem stupid for not having a more verbose response.
The internet has been showing only the bad things (which will be fixed). You on the other hand, show the good things. It's all about perspective. Thumbs up.
Lovely seeing a positive video for this game! I’m about 48 hours into my series X playthrough and it’s an utterly beautifully crafted game! Love it to bits!!!
