some games play well with it, others not so much due to latency and some visual glitches and maybe some stutter. For single player games is mostly fine. Stutter can sometimes be countered by disabling antilag. I use it in several games and it works great.
This is crazy. Im playing Jedi Survivor with low settings across the board, getting 30-45 fps on average. I turned on the fluid motion frames...its not perfect but I'm getting close to 60 or above on average 😮

Dude my rog won’t run fallout new Vegas all of sudden… I was play for weeks w no problems. I always update my rog before playing. I updated all 3 apps “my asus” , “armory crate” and the regular windows “settings” . All of a sudden it, when I start up NV when I press continue, it goes on the loading screen but then it the whole thing crashes and doesn’t tell me no warning or error code on why. Just crashes like nothing happened, like I just turned on the rog
is there any way to improve how the afmf looks like? i was using it on Yakua Kiwami 2 and it looks jittery and distorted and feels like it lost more fps than before.
I've read that there are a couple other things needed to make sure Afmf works such as it needs to be in fullscreen and vsync needs to be off. Can you confirm this?
If the game uses dx11 or dx12 it will work with the game, the difference in FPS changes based on the game. Use the command center button on the ROG Ally and it will say in the top corner your battery.
@@buster5661 i think it is a motherboars issue. Sent ig in for repair due to static speakers and mogherboard was replacex. Now... no issues at all$ even wigh fluid motion.

It's wont work if your screen move too fast ( like turn around in combat ), but still better than normal, using right now in forbidden west with rx6600. For fps game like valorant, csgo ... dont use it.
But do you need to launch the game from the AMD app to have it activated? Or I can launch it from Steam and it’ll remember that I want it on for that 1 game?
I was able to enable AFMF, but there is no Overlay tab(where I can enable the overlay) under the performance section of my AMD software, I only have the tracking tab
The minimum fps to have a smooth experience with frame gen is 60. You can try and decide for yourself, some people are more sensitive than others with lag and bad frame pacing.

slowed down dragons dogma 2 for me by a lot.
You can activate or deactivate it by key mapping in armoury crate …using one of the macro keys and another button

I have amd 24.3.1 but no option for overlay? Everything is updated. Am I missing something?
You don’t see it in AMD Software > Performance > Metrics > Overlay and then “enable metrics overlay”?

I just use regular set up. AFMF gives my game massive lag. I'll need to test it on game with fsr3 and see if that helps.
