I’ll raise the bar for idiocy - I was putting the cap plate on the bottom of the drum instead of the top. With the cap plate on top, it should be impossible for the paper to ride up…
@@BuiltByAnt just remember to only turn it 1/4 turns either direction until it stops sliding, I spent about 45 minutes trying to fix mine going all the way clockwise then all the way counter clockwise before I read the manual annndddd it was fixed in 5 haha
yup, so much of this is familiar: it being more expensive to buy just the hardwood than an equivalent finished product, paying extra for PAR only to have it bow and/or cup when you get it home and need machining again, and having those sandpaper bobbins ride up as you use them! .....nice trays though... 😀👍
To stop the sandpaper moving tighten down the nut on top. It compresses the rubber bobbin and it spreads out and holds the sand paper better.
Damn that’s so simple but genius - of course -
I am an idiot - thank you
@@BuiltByAnt Oh, I did the same thing. Drove me batty for months. Then I saw someone else on RUclips really tightening it down and thought… well, duh.

That’s some of the best vacuuming I’ve ever seen!! I’m still such a novice at vacuuming but I practice everyday!!😂😂
My wife seems to believe my skills are lacking, i will be showing her your comment as proof - Thanks 😂

Came for the voiceover. Stayed for the stain-porn. A+
Now all that's left is to fill those bad boys up with some cheese and crackers!
Curious if rubio monocoat is food safe...
According to their website, Rubio is 100% good safe
Too much talking for my liking
