Very tempted to get this guy here if I can, I usually keep my figures in robot mode a good 90% of the time so the fact it can’t transform has never really been a problem with me
The only thing I don't like about this is the shoulder panel articulation. SS 38 Optimus had the best shoulders because the top of it hinges over so the sides of the shoulders can line up with the neck and torso. Its the only Knightverse Optimus figure Ive seen that can recreate that shot of him aiming at Primal.
So is this actually a kit or just a action figure that comes disassembled in the package? Like a marvel legends build a figure for lack of a better example?
the fact that it's not like a bandai gunpla-style kit kind of turned me off on these, would honestly rather go for transforming figures, even if these are super accurate and nicely detailed which I'm all for
@@Jcc2224 yes Commander Cody was probably one of the best thing about the bad batch. I heard he was going to be in season 3 but I will believe it when I see it lol, and yes we do need an hot toy of him as well.
Well these don't Transform, so naturally they're gunna be a LOT better looking and moving in bot mode than those that do. But comparing these to R.E.D that cost just 5 bucks less, yeah no contest these totally win.

I agree with the non-transforming bit. Actually I would rather it to be movie accurate than being able to transform for this

I have the uprising figures, the paint is a little bit lacking, but they are very nice.

I'd say it's more akin to a Marvel Legends BAF with a few extra parts you gotta put on.

what kind of material are they made of? abs or Polystyrene like typical model kits?
Does the plastic feel durable? Like for example on optimus ears do they feel fragile or do they bend to prevent breaking?
The plastic is very durable. They're not flexible tho, so if you smashed this thing head-first those ears are gunna be busted up.
Are the joints for the torso weak?
It's a little loose but it's not weak, it holds pretty well.
