As a drummer, I know you really appreciate Adam Rupp's skills with vocal percussion. He is so spot on that I always forget that there is no real drum set. Even when I try to focus on it, I get lost half way into the song and completely forget that it's all done by him (and the bass lines help a lot with that...). Anyway, great reaction. Would love to hear more from you on the vocal percussion in their music.
@@nethanelmasters5170 Oh, I have seen him do it live. It is so much better in person than it is recorded on someone's cell phone. Thanks for what you do.
Yea he's def great! The tasteful placement of his fills is really what I notice. They're pretty spot on with how a real drummer would play it. I'll comment on it more as I keep reacting to them 😊😊😊 Appreciate you!
I love your reactions, you have an ability to put a smile on my face! I would love to see you react to Avi Kaplans solomusic! If you havent listened to him yet you have really missed something! 🙏❤
Before playing this, my immediate thought was the 1964 song, “Only in America” by Jay & the Americans. I was wrong. But having said that, and being in my teens back then, I personally prefer the 1964 song. - BG
You should listen to Home Free's version of "ring of fire" by Johnny Cash. And "man of constant sorrow" from the soundtrack of (O brother where art thou) i love the diversity in what they can do vocally. The bass Tim Faust has some crazy deep deep vocals in "misty mountain"
They never disappoint! I know it’s not Christmas yet but if you want a low bass note, harmonies, and kick-ass vocal percussion, you should check out Home Free’s “Do You Hear What I Hear”. It was arranged by the beast himself, Mr. Adam Rupp and it’s incredible! 💛🎶💛
New sub, came for the Home Free! Please check out Folsom Prison Blues, My Church, Helplessly Hoping, Sea Shanty Medley (CRAZY vocal percussion on that one!], and THEN (after you really know their voices), Mayday. That one will blow your mind!
Giving justice to a Brooks & Dunn song...And always hard to believe... no instruments... they r amazing... and yes..lots of stuff we need to fix in this country but I'm blessed to be in this country... I don't watch the news anymore... I'm older.. and have just come to the conclusion I can't fix anything... I will cast my vote and just pray that things will get better.. but watching the news is just upsetting... ppl and children being murdered and the government just a joke to me... I watch the weather... because I have a farm... don't want to listen to the rest of it...
They love to use their fans when they can. Im pretty sure all 3 of the people highlighted in the video are in Tennessee Austin and Tim are both located in Tennessee now
Oh, and really enjoy your honest, uninhibited reactions. For more great a ccapella, check out VoicePlay: Warriors; Carry On, Wayward Son; Eleanor Rigby; My Mother Told Me. They also have a great beat boxer, who does a lot of their arranging. And their bass, Geoff Castellucci, has solo stuff that will blow your mind!
They usually let us know in the title if it’s a cover. As Kevin (below) pointed out this was originally recorded by Brooks and Dunn. Regardless it’s a great song sung by great artists. The reaction wasn’t bad either. Just messing with you man, good job!
One fantastic cover Home Free does that doesn't get much recognition is "God Blessed Texas" originally by the group Little Texas. The guys recorded it several years ago as a hurricane relief with all proceeds going to the fund. Excellent version IMO. Also check out their take on Sawyer Brown's "Some Girls Do". Love your reactions, Brother. New sub here.
Tell us your opinion -- does Home Free's version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" kick PTX's version up and down the block? Here is link! ruclips.net/video/NnYyuEc2e1s/видео.html
Ok I subscribed to your awesome channel. Plz you want some harmonies. I love Home Free but check out Celestial it would blow your mind I promise. Plz Plz all her family sings they are Samoan. The one you will love it's her brother and Celestial.
Oh, I love these guys and their music. They are as decent and humble as they are talented. They still respect and appreciate their fans.
I honestly feel like these guys open up people's eyes to the great music I grew up with as a child. Im a huge fan and they are so talented!
Wow I hadn't heard this song before and I absolutely love Homefree
They revived this Brooks & Dunn classic from the early 90's....perfect timing for the July 4th weekend...Happy 4th brother
